Dusty and as used as the trial head,
I lay my crown down.
Dusty as the recently raced thorough bred.
Im tired now.
Aint that enough said.
Twisting and turning and pulling
the sheets of my bed.
Id rather be swimming in the distance.
Right out of your perspective.
Forcing you to squint your eyes.
So much so that it really ******* hurts.

i wonder what became
of the girl that threw butterflies to the rain
and shattered pretty vases
so her heart could relate.
who buried her sorrows
deep in the bottom of a bottle
and never woke up again.
sick of being a burden on everyone's shoulders,
she stretched her arms to
the wind on the boats and ponds
and longed for enough despair
and enough bravery to finally
set herself free.

what became of the girl whose solace grew bigger everyday?
her desire for life ate her away.

Sometimes I wonder how clouds can move so slow

and we know they are moving

but still

sometimes they seem

so

still

tonight I am sad
tonight I am lonely
the demons are screaming
and I need you to hold me.

She was clean as paper
Before the poem
Her body was an empty acre
Before the home

Until one day
A man touched her body
She was led astray
Because of his hobby

And so they vowed forever
For her to clean plates
For him to grab his sweater
So he can finally escape
i was reading house on mango street and i got this idea from it so kudos to sandra cisneros

We are all so fixated on the thought of eternal happiness when in reality there is no such thing
Life is no fairy tale but in fact the opposite, a roller coaster of twists and turns
A constant down fall, things getting better only to worsen in a matter of seconds and go right back up
The only thing you can truly do is move on
Oh how I pity the people so fixated on the past that it ruins their future
Stuck on their first love, being deceived
You're wasting your time
Who knows though
Maybe I'm wasting mine
