Gone
Nicole M Allen Aug 2019
I thought my love for you was infinite
It just fell through
And I am feeling blue
To even question my lost love for you
It was there
I’ve had it for years
Thought about you almost everyday

Now I just picture myself turning away
Would you even have much to say

It’s not like you even knew

I will look past your wrong decisions
Might overthink your mistakes
But underneath it all I know you're better
Always taking a chance on someone I believe in
I'm in the pool of your promises
Forever

All truths have an end standing on a limb how unfamiliar my friends faces look
The sound reaches but I narrow my listening
Solitary detachment
Mercury goes retrograde in itself, for itself hyper-real
Misread too often I need a latitude adjustment in a feeling, at a time of nowhere

how would he give me his leather jacket
the temperature brisk
collar wool
mystery of compassion in pockets
given by two hands
placed on my skinny shoulders
would he concentrate on me
wrapping in something so new
it feels warm
how does he stare at me
a force to be reckoned with
reveal your plan
who is the display of a motive

Fogged eyes
Nicole M Allen Dec 2014
Do you feel more secure when your head touches the ceiling
Hiding in the shower
Pulsating droplets split
Hitting my spine
To slip and become a dying fragment in the drain
Scale the space between lost
Acknowledge my existence

Curiosity get the best of me
Does my dream know everything
Daring me to voyage

Rather walk to unwind
Go outside
I make time
Burn my thoughts out
The bottom amber of the fire
I am in the depths of my subconscious about
How to cautiously word this out

Its a beautiful stain
Recycled and analyzed
Absorbing an array of elements
In the back of my brain
A blotch generated from something catastrophe

let you know
Nicole M Allen Dec 2013
Stressin more than your body can endure
Wish I could obtain the certain one-word trigger cure
That would bring you up from under the dark weather
Channel those negatives feelings
Make your forecast better
Shoot you like it would be your medicine vile
Hittin you hard
Leavin you with a smile
Cuz your smile is worth my worthwhile
I hope I got you with my writing style
You are someone better than myself
Don't go trying to change that
You're like no one else

Heavy feelings
Nicole M Allen Dec 2013
Your calm behavior
This kiss has its own flavor
Love leave sectile cuts like a razor
He should of  been labeled with a disclaimer
Warning me of his true identity
A heartbreaker
Wishing I had a mind eraser
A memory drainer
But I'll let you be the stimulator like before
I am just a partaker and a  violator
Because my final words with him were last December
But forgetting you will leave me with displeasure
You give me so much love
No one can measure
Second poem, open to comments and criticism

Chaos theory
Nicole M Allen Nov 2013
Eyes like watercolors
Flash flooding tears of turquoise aqua
Whirling cynical streams of sadness when unstable
Crashing and restoring passing through in and and throughout the salty shores
I am already so many shades of blues
Cannot let my emotions equal that
trying to become a better poet suggestions are greatly appreciated
