Have I lost you forever?

Staring into the black night sky I cling to the hopes....                                                       that I have not.

I don't understand why things are different....                   why things have changed..

Was it me?                                       Did I do something wrong?

                             why is this happening...?

why.

              is this..

                                  happening?                                                                                          hmmm?

                                                                why can't you be honest?

From the book. "Accidently Dead"... a  found poem.

An unwilling glance at the clock told her it was just midnight,
Pressing a cold cloth to her forehead,
A sob welled in her throat,
Sadness filling the empty cavity where her heart once beat.
Cold chills break out along her spine,
and if he didn't at least like her as much as she liked him,
why should she beg so she could spend an eternity with him?
Her stomach fluttered, hollow and filled with fear.
This web is one seriously tangled weave.

Let me in.
express to me what's on your mind.
tell me what I need to hear.
my mind is open for you.
even if it's not what I want to hear.
i've only ever wanted to see you smile.
nothing else matters.

Your silent silhouette lingers
Imprinted in my morose mind
liquid diamonds
stream softly
from swollen sorrowful eyes
I pull at my choking chest
it beats for you

Make it stop.
