I was a traveler.
She was a poet.
l visited almost half of the world.
She wrote about it.
I loved to wonder.
She was wanderlust.
I've been from North to West,
from Australia to Antarctica.
She saw them from her computer screen.
I loved her,
as much as I loved to travel the world.
She loved me as if I was the world..
or something. Though in my eyes,
she didn't even compare to the Eiffel tower
or the great wall of China.
She was much more majestic.
She said she could write about me all day.
I said I could explore every inch of her,
every day. And although I traveled everywhere
and anywhere you could imagine,
she was by far my favorite tourist attraction.
She was my world.
She was the whole world.
In a day.

Your hair floats from the lack of gravity
and oh god, your  smile
could be the cause of global warming
though if I got third degree burns
I would even care because I was close to you.
You could of set fire  to my heart
and I wouldn't even flinch;
So  kiss  me  again.

Let my lips make a home on your lips
I'll replace your oxygen with mine
and allow our insides to float with the stars
as we watch them, in your room or on my

moon

I drank coffee
you drank tea

I sat in the corner
you tried to sit next to me

I said "leave it alone"
you said "make it free"

we were opposites
yet meant to be

I want you
whether it'd be in my dreams,
in the music I listen to;
I want the sound of your blood
to be my favorite song.
I want you to be the slight chill
when it rains and the steam
from my sweet, yet bitter tea.

I want you
to want me too.
I want to be the static in your TV,
the lustful glare in your eyes,
the lucid to your dreams.
I want to be the humid in your summer air,
the one that always messed with your hair.
You hated the summer because of it
and I loved your little complaints about it.
You preferred the winter's cold, Coldplay,
and the bitter frostbite that came with it too.

So want  me,
like I want you.

Still sleeping, yet awake
my face was dry;
my lips were wet

And there was nothing
keeping me on this earth
except gravity and you

Morning
your eyes become the sun
In which I pleasantly wake up to everyday

Afternoon
your eyes simmer only slightly, still as
bright as the sun except more peacefully

Night*
gloomy hair and unfaithful bags
touch your eyes though they do not cause any effect;
yet
only when your lips whisper "
goodnight love*" and kiss my delicate cheek I notice
how the day dims your eyes

You snuck into my dorm room
and told me you missed me
though it only has been minutes
since I was last in your bed

You told me you loved me
and that it wasn't just a phase
yet you turned your back
and walked away
