He told you he cares for you
They are trouble
He doesn’t want you involved
He gazed upon your face
Tried to read you
You gave him your broken look
He wanted to soothe you
To speak of love
You didn’t want to hear more
He said there’s no other choice
No other way
So, he chose the other girl.

                                                                     '
How you’ve cried your feelings out
To trust in him
Believing into something
Cry no more my dear girl
He’s not a man
Not even, to stand for him
He said he’s in love with you?
But to prefer you
He simply cannot do
They will hurt you, he told you
He won’t have that
He can never protect you.

The birds were chirping that day,
singing sweet songs for you.
They knew you were something,
an angel sent from above.

You came to me as the sun,
gave me your gentle warmth.
You became my rainbow,
showed me the beauty of earth.

Hear the birds sing once again,
hear my voice sing for you.
Your day today, my friend,
wishing you joy in the world.

Model in the making,
this gorgeous male.
Face bright and so shining,
with his cute smile.
His laugh entertaining,
reaching a mile.
Ever so demanding,
now hear him wail.

Senior citizens can be a pain.
They could drive you insane.
Some can be so demanding.
Others so threatening.

No one can be deafer than them.
Most choose not to listen.
They could spend hours of debate,
on a topic all over again.

A lot, I had been enraged by them.
They had been a nuisance.
I had cheated and been triumphant.
Old people are they not?

Then, I realized; Young as I am.
Soon, my skin will wither.
I shall be one of those old Madame,
often not understood.

You lay sleeping.
I watch your face with a smile,
knowing you are mine.

I kiss your cheeks,
So warm and soft… heaven sweet,
all mine for today.

Thinking of you.
Enjoying each passing days,
my heart swells with pride.

Mine for today.
Your smiles, your hugs, your kisses,
treasures of my heart.

She is no goddess,
not even a beauty.
Just a plain old lady,
yet see her face.
How her sweet smile,
enlightens someone’s heart.

He is no scholar,
not even a wise one.
An ordinary man,
yet he listens.
How his kind ears,
saves someone from peril.

They are no angels,
not ethereal beings.
See their feet on the ground,
yet, light bearers-
stars of the lost,
sanctuaries of the sad.

Not a mere mortal,
you are something divine.
Let your light touch their souls,
heed their soft cries,
open your heart.
You are a light bearer.

Hear the children’s laughter,
it is all the same.
High pitched and infectious,
a dear for the ears.

Black, white, brown or yellow,
they have the same smile.
Well nourished or starving,
they have one desire.

Some good fortune for kids,
having a true home,
with someone to hold them.
Someone to kiss them.

But an ill fate for those,
having such a house,
and not a home to go.
No one to embrace.

Yet… still blessed beings,
seeing no evil,
hearing only good things.
Uncorrupted minds.

Let children, be children.
Make them see beauty.
Show them the precise way,
let love be their light!
