Until
Mira Dec 4
Until seagulls cry in the salted air,
Until grains of sand slip like time through my fingertips,
Until bright corals shimmer, painting the ocean floor with light,
Until the waves carve my name into their deep blue fabric,
Until my breath dissolves into the whispers of the sea,
I will not be in peace.

Until the tide pulls me into its timeless embrace,
Until the sun sets, casting its warmth upon my fading soul,
Until the moon’s shine is fused into the fabric of my soul,
Until my heart beats in rhythm with the ocean’s eternal pulse,
I will not be whole.

Summer Days
Mira Dec 4
The grass outside filled with dew,
Reflects the natures view,
Kids playing wild and free,
Praying you can always see.

Memories come and go,
But try to let them flow,
So one day you’ll look back,
And see a life filled with joy, without lack.

Christmas Memories
Mira Dec 4
Looking out the window,
I see a land of snow,
In vain, I try not to smile,
My veins fill with hope.

How childish to think
That everyone adorse snow-
But in that quiet moment,
the world seems connected,
bound by something simple,
something pure.

In the Quiet I keep
Mira Dec 4
Always coming back to this place,
it takes away the reality of my shoulders.
It’s walls mirror my soul,
settling peace as long as I stare.

It’s trees gently sway in the breeze,
thoughts drifting like leaves-
to a place untouched by time.

Someday, perhaps, I’ll share this place
but for now, it remains mine,
till the warmth of the sunset welcomes another.
