Kiss

Missing the warmth
Of woman

Bed half empty
Half dead

Blinking

Capacity of sympathy
For cold universe.

Intermittent orbs of burning
Radiation.


Pitiless
Universe
No empathy for

Sullied creatures crawling
In pond sludge

Only dimly aware of
God's failure.

New eyes
Round

Cry
Baby
Cry

I carry them
Everywhere

These glasses


Tipped them when
We met

And when you were
Lost

O god

I nearly died

But thanks to empty glasses

I survive

Borrowed from sea-

Fog wet-kissing

Moonlight

With nothing to do
