This is the Jungle

Corner of the room
Crevice of mind the
Womb forest of warmth

Tender as bruised fruit
Fallen from high
Nourishing the nut
Seed of new delight

Fallen space makes crazy yearning for the light
Wet width of green green
Soft soft soft growth

Rivers spring up unannounced from the
Jungle
The Jungle is home
Home is soft green filtered light and wet wet

No Spring

Cave
Weeping darkly,

Bodhidharmas

Wordless Poem

Perhaps succeeded

Light and dark
Will stop

An overflow of
Red love or

The blank stare

Mark of possibility
Existence being

On this cave wall

Renaissance can wait for
The Bloom of Dissolution to fade.

Multitude of Stars break down-
Release an Ozone of melancholy
Nitrogenous breath

We old bald men

In this Kernel the Beating
Heart of Being
Expresses
From Land to Stalk from
Barking Stem to whippet waving Leaf.

All my Head exposed in
Creamed whorls of Walnut-
The Apple Pip of Manhood shown
Only to Woman

Tiny orbs deflect
Awareness
Of Pure Light.
