Oh So Cool
She walks in the night
with doubt on her mind.
But with courage on her chest she battles
the crowds of familiar faces.
Such a burden it is to be known,
such a blessing it is to be found.
Little Miss Popular has lost her way.
As she runs, chasing her reputation
she becomes a scandal.
To herself a fake,
to others a joke.
What has happened here my old friend?
You were so great, so cool.
Oh so cool.

But still, she walks
and runs.
And she will keep running 'till she tires.
Running to a place where nothing remains.
Take it as a chance my child, to start again.
I was once like you, I am you now.
And we will be, one day, just fine.

Extinguishing an old ache.
My body ached as I erased you.
You are everywhere.
You are in everything.
For I fear one day I wake and you are gone.
I fear for what will replace the thought of you.

An Awesome Exchange
From light to light.
From touch to touch.
From lover to lover.
Can you feel it?
This awesome exchange of energy?

Hustler of Light
She sneaks in undetected,
turns off the light
and turns on the lamps;
then like a ghost she is gone.

My sanity is fleeting with every flicker.
Questioning myself,
once, twice.
What ghost was here?
