Unconscious efforts to diminish my size
Incapacitating distractions leave me unwise,
Deformed by obnoxious societal lies
Parallel faith, mostly untruths in endless wait
Craving fairness
Awareness
Finding only sophisticated insecurities
Because life, as we know her,
Is a dangerous tease.
