Life ends abruptly
We all need the power to
smile until the end

Are these people real?
You only see what they want
Are these masks or faces?

Thoughts kept to ones self
Buried deep in ones own head
No one has shovels

Bones break, skin stretches
The moon glows in the night sky
Coarse hair hunger stirs

Walking across grass
Your **** count rises
Death yet nobody minds

I am very warm
There's a fire in the building
Someone locked the doors
I'm a gamer
The things I do
Mapped new worlds
Slain a god or two
Blown up stars
And lead revolutions
Gained experience
And Increased my Constitution

Drove a tank
A star-ship
A dragon
Killed a zombie horde
Drank some mead from a flagon

I've built cities
and worlds
and life
I've ended wars
and Famines
and strife

I've lived more lives than one can live
I've seen the work of hundreds in the span of moments
More personal  than literature
Old and I'd take it down but some kid used it in an assignment for his 3rd grade class so i'll leave it up.
Automn
Fall
Everything falling asleep
The ground's covered
Slowly decaying leaves
We pile them up for fun
Feasting starts
To keep spirits high
Creatures are saddened
A natural thing
The season after
Is often full of death
Long cold winters
Halfway through
Celebration
Not the original
Gifts are given
Not the original
Nobody remembers
The way we lived before
I gaze into the darkness
See everything that's still
Everything that ever was
And everything that will

I ignore the pull of time
I'm not confined by space
I arrive and bring destruction
And leave without a trace

I grin at death's foul hand
And chuckle at despair
I laugh at creature's horror
And smile at their terror

I dance on people's thoughts
And feed on people's dreams
I stare bemused at their minds
And peel away the seems

We sleep beyond the veil
Beyond the reach of all
We take the sentient life of space
And cause their worlds to fall
