I found satisfaction without any action
I smiled to know I was ready to go
I guess I'm all set
I held the door as I left
And as I walked in the cold
I thought man I should have drove

She stands on her own
She drives herself home
She goes, now she's going
She knows and has known

He crawls on the floor
He can't open the door
He is torn, all the more
He awaits his sorrow in store

I long for the summertime
For the flowers and sun
For the hours of fun
That are to come

I long to be sunburnt.
This winter I have learnt
That snow can hurt.
It's summer's turn.

I long for the water
Cold and clear
Summer's a martyr
That dies each year

She left
It hasn't hit me yet
But I remember she said,
"You're not the same person
You were when we first met."
Of course I got upset
And said things I shouldn't have,
Things I've come to regret
But I won't let this be the end for me

It whistled off your tongue,
The vowels smoothly sung.
To a boy with ears so keen,
Each letter gapped with air between.
Your name I heard.
It struck and stirred my heart, Dispersing love as true as art.

Forever forgotten yellow sun,
Where have all our good times gone.
You're just as bright,
You're just as warm.
Dont let one night
Create a storm.

Tomorrow's sun,
They've said there's none.
Tomorrow's star,
They'll say it's too far.

Sun or star,
They're none too far.
Touch with eyes,
Their such demise.

Tomorrow's cloud,
They'll see too proud.
Tomorrow's moon,
Will darken soon.

Cloud or moon,
so proud, so soon,
Fills the sky,
In deep July.

A blinding sun won't make them see.
A shooting star won't make them wish.
A thinning cloud won't brighten their soul.
A full moon won't ever come,
But I'll enjoy the blinding sun.
