TRANSCIENCE:
misspell it every time. somewhat
quite sure it’s intentional. feel i
might be due a nightmare. have
been throwin’ too much weight
on the psyche. pressing
my worth
more and more out of existence.
and i am more disciplined than
i allow myself to believe.
with awkward schedule fulfilling
each day, awakening to death
and the Sun’s mistress giving
chase. with each sun set
and rise, i drift. world witnesses
rebirth. continual birth,
and everything turns out
in the end.      (no fatalist)
goat’s head on the wall,
staring as i can barely scrawl.
eyes that see beyond this vessel,
to search a span of sleeping lives.
and cold wind gusting, i’m
all too focus’d.
if only a pocket warmer to
thaw these clench’d muscles,
nothing more than tepid
flesh. nothing, endless flesh.
found broken lines,
found blur’d thought,
i awaken.
  - and may they never be
    found having to cook
    with premium pony meat.
too cryptic. i lost it. and now
the Muse of Nothingness
brings the other, brings
the middle ground. continue
to brake and simplify. at
long without it,
the Sea Wolf always finds me.
and if to change places, it
would be much the same as
how this vessel seeks the Sun.
and i
am consumption of sacrament.
and i
am beauty all inclusive.
and i
am crass, purposeful, in misleading.
and i
am prone to not caring for
making sense.
and i
am Lotus Eater re-emergent.
and i
am bound to sound like
a slow burning. like a little.

Only Angel

Don't you run away;
You're running from your only saviour
Don't you know you're looking into the eyes
Of the only angel on your road?

This is the only time;
You gotta find your light on your way
You're never, no, you're never...
Never gonna find another angel on your road.

Baby, don't you know you're turning away from the Light
You're never gonna have this chance no more
Don't you know you're looking into the eyes
Oh G-d, you gotta move that bad from your door!

Don't you turn away;
Don't you go on spitting
In the face of an angel
Never gonna find another angel in your road

Refrain (spoken):

May the Light shine in any dark corner of your heart
And banish all negative, weak thoughts.

May your steps still be ever-so gentle
On the sometimes tricky path of life.

Seek not always activity to stop the gaps
They are the breathing spaces meant for peace and inner dwelling.

Water your little flowers on the arid plain of Life
For I see them blossom in your eyes.

It's hard to fix a broken road
So step out and carve out a new way.

Feel. Really feel the pain and chase it not.
It is not the foe, just a momentary spot of too-bright light.

The real enemy sits in your midst
Lingers on your fears and blots out your sun.....

It is thought.
Too much of it can **** a man!

Mind you keep the untame drivel well clear of your heart
Lest you wish a choking visit.

Be real with yourself
And be kinder to your spirit.

Battle not too sore with the winds
As your silver light shows you the way to a purer, clearer life.

May the stars of tranquil dawn usher calm
And soothe your battered soul.

Ask not for obstacles to be removed
They are for learning and teaching; progress.

Pray instead for safety, health and dignity
And hang onto that necklace of peace.

True amity is such that having never yet met
We can embrace in kindred spirit.

Have the heart to welcome a stranded soul
And spare anyone lame excuses.

Lessons await you patiently
Neglect none; accept or pay dear.

Take time to discover yet....the REAL you.
Enlightenment is tough work!

Peace to you, dear friend.

We breathe yes
into every no
because it's easier that way.
That whispered affirmation
That sighing hope
is the pebble that shakes
from the cuff
of your pants and rolls
unnoticed
to the pond
where its invisibility is
compromised.

It becomes something beating
heaving
causing.
What erupts from it
concentrically
is no natural event
no miraculous happenstance
but the direct effect
of our willful breaths
proclaiming fervently
yes.

My eyes are glossed,
I can not see.
I'm just as lost,
As a rootless tree.

Young strong ambition,
Brought down by the evils of humanity.
A good life was once my mission,
Now I question my sanity.

I feel separated from the world.
Reality is a fragment of my imagination.
What appears straight is curled.
Light is just a mere imitation.

We seek justice that is always blind.
For our laws are rooted in discrimination.
Greed serves as the currency of our kind,
And profit the sole motivation.

To see the corruptions of our society,
And sit outside and observe.
Brings a cold chill of sobriety,
and feeling of atrocity to my nerve.

My eyes are glossed,
I can not see.
I'm just as lost,
As a rootless tree.

For every beautiful creature,
There is complementary predation and blight.
For every miraculous feature,
There is a parallel of war and spite.

You can choose to accept things as they exist,
Or be the person that brings in change.
But if our current circumstances persist,
Our decedents will learn nothing but rage.

A wise man once said:
"Be the change you want to see."
So peace and love I will spread.
And live by the same decree.

I will use my tools,
Given to me by my Creator.
To make wise men of fools,
And make the common good greater.

My eyes are now clear,
And I can see.
I no longer appear,
As a rootless tree.

My hands are calloused
from cold mornings with hot coffee
spent—not wasted—digging
for history.

My hands are scratched
from hoping and praying
as I reach blindly into holes
desperate for something
more than a sherd.

My hands are the victims
of archaeology—destroyed
to prove they existed.

My hands are calloused
from the silent nights
when I rock myself to sleep
clutching shoulder blades
that would make Occam
blush.

My hands are stained
from writing down words
that are too often forced.
Like your name.
I smudged it today
as I passed it by.

I’ve never felt more sinister.

My hands are calloused
from assuming.
That plate’s not too hot.
Yes, I can hold that.
Yes, I can manage.
NO. I don’t need help.
I need

Space.

My hands are sore
from pulling when everyone else
pushed.
My hands are bruised
from doors and windows that shut
too fast.

My hands are calloused
from the rails I grip
because I walk too hard.
My hands are calloused
because I’m not made for
waiting.

My hands are calloused
because they’ve already
faced
a succession of eternities
and they’re determined
to weather more.

Do not mistake my kindness for weakness;
My silence for approval;
My smile for contentment;
My outside for my inside;
Desperation hides vitality
Discouragement, a new resolve
It is often in the darkest places where hope shines brightest
Especially in the eyes of those who are most eager to find it.

The stars are my freckles
The mountains my knees
The clouds are my eyebrows
My spit makes the seas.

My hair is the grass
The bushes, the leaves
My nails the glass
Stolen by thieves.

My tears are the raindrops
My skin is the dirt
My mouth is a cave
The pigments of the flowers are the same as my shirt.

My left nostril is the sun
My right is the moon
Under one you shall bathe
And the other lovers swoon.

My neck is the trees
And their branches that grow
My hips are hills
And my dandruff the snow.

The rivers are my veins
And the rocks are my ears
My eyes are the poles
And my wrinkles the years.

My bones are the plates
My nose is a cliff
My heart is the core
Born on February the fifth.
It's mah birfday in 6 days! Woohoo!

To cut the throat
Of the virus that branches
It's spider finger tips
*******, cutting, and licking venom
To spread turn blood to **** and stomach bile
In your veins
Until it kisses your brain
Unfolding and cursing
Over and again

To remove the dust from the window sill
And push open to glass
To a warm summers night
Air thick enough to fill your ears
To slip past the lips
Expand and fill
The holes of your airways
But coming as a whisper of the soothsayer
To take you to the deep velvet river banks
Turning your flesh to sand
Matter recycled
To turn to earth and trees
That become a part of the cycle
Misery and Majesty
Matter and antimatter

From the open
To the close
Of steel lid eyes
It doesn't feel right
From the departure
The splitting of the seas
Of sheets
To the holy reuniting
Its all gray stuffing
From seam to seam
From floor to ceiling
Blank dry
Eyes still staring under lids
Collisions behind the curtains
Behind the scenes
A sweet obstruction
Our neglected eye lids

Sour apple brain
Velvet lids
Concrete lips
Hands that ***** their body
In vain or in shame
A body disconnected from A brain
Wanders looking for hosts
That never touch it the same
The brain wanders for hosts
That will regulate its deficits
Hosts that never spark it the same
Both glass to break
Both paper thin
Giving themselves up at the lips of flame
And the flame
The burning hands of a body
A body disconnected from a brain
All the same
Ready to burn ready to spark
Again and again
The world is full of hatred and spite,
It may come as a surprise
Oh innocent youth,
But allow me to reprise,
The world is full of hatred and spite.

Oh innocent youth,

Change it, we must,
In the way we see fit.
Take charge of the reigns,
And demolish the parts
causing the most pain.

Ignorance and Arrogance
Are the Gods of the day,
Lack of wanting or caring
For the power of knowledge,
Content to be slaves,
Lost in their ways.

Oh tainted youth,

How far will this path take us?
Destroying our home, our friendships, our lives,
Our bodies, our minds, our dreams,
Crushed and broken,
Until nothing is left,
Nothing except subservient beings.

Oh enraged youth,

How do we change the events
set into motion,
Call me a radical but I have such a notion.
Seek knowledge, peace,
Love, and understanding.

In these virtues you will find
The mind’s true elation,
Then, and only then,
Will you break free
From the grip of preoccupation.

Oh enlightened youth,

When and how will our voices be heard?
Whenever it is, we break ranks from the herd.

It will require us all,
Brothers, sisters, blacks, and whites,
No group left uncalled,
For fear that upon deaf ears
our efforts should fall,

Oh empowered youth,

With these tools we must fashion,
Our revolution of choice,
With chests out and heads high,
We will make sure they hear,
Our unified voice.

For without the power of us,
There will be no change,
But the power of us
Is a force to reckon,
Yet we must keep our path straight,
And let it not derange.

Oh complacent youth,

I fear that change should not come,
Soon enough, or yet at all,
Unless we stand tall, and call,
For those in their hall,
To Bring Down their Wall.

When we treat all equal,
With love and respect,
We will have won.
But what do you expect?

Oh innocent youth,

This will not happen, it cannot happen,
The world is filled with Hatred and Spite,
And I fear we will gaze eternally,
At our cause, fading,
Into that great twilight.
