My eyes are blue to hide the black,
my fingers crossed behind my back,
this act to keep the world at bay,
in lies that beg your heart to stay.

My skin is fair to hide the dark,
my scars are deep but show no mark,
this smile is wide to hide my pain,
in words that mask my thoughts again.

My spark is bright to hide my soul,
my wit is sharp to keep control,
this light you see is my facade,
the armour of my heart on guard.

I'll Close My Eyes And Let You Lead The Way,
But You Have To Promise Me That Your Gonna Stay.
I'll Let Go Of Your Hand And Follow Your Voice,
I'll Give You My Trust, I'll Make That My Choice.
Tell You All My Feelings You Never Found Out,
Because With You I Have No Doubts.

Aaron, I'll Trust You All I Can,
But It's Hard You Gotta Understand.
My Love.
Lots of drugs
a little drinking
lots of fights
not too much thinking

Lots of ink
a couple of scars
too many night clubs
too many bars

Lots of ***
not too much caring
lots of taking
not much sharing

Years of abuse
and selfish action
avoiding the truth
by means of distraction

Beware of this life
it's not all it seems
you block out the nightmares
by killing your dreams

Today I am eighteen, I stand tall and strong
I say there is nothing that I can do wrong
I'm young and I'm free on a day to day spree
There's no one in this world that I'd rather be
Age is no object, the time is just right
Days are forever and so are the nights
I've partied and stayed up, no lesser the wear
I haven't a worry, I haven't a care
Then  just like awakening, I opened my eyes
Today I am thirty! oh what a surprise!
I look back and ponder
I shed a few tears
I think of lost days that amounted to years
I sit back and think of past stuggles and strife
My children are growing and I've a new life
I look towards tomorrow with minimal doubt
I say to myself "What am I all about?"
Today I am fifty, it seems ----oh so long
To look back and visulize that boy tall and strong
I'm still far from weak
I've accomplished my plan
My boyhood is over
I'm now a grown man
But deep in my spirit
My youth still runs free
Today I am seventy, and still glad to be "me"
There are more than a few
questions in life
that at first blush sound like a trap
like does my **** look big in this
or how do I look in this hat

Or perhaps you've been asked
to guess someone's age
or perhaps even worse guess their weight
to all of these questions the answer should be
to look in their eye, tell em straight.

"I could tell you the truth
as it appears to me
but is that what you want to hear
I get the feeling you know the answer
and getting it wrong's what I fear"

"So if its OK with you I'll pass on that one
and the reason for this is, you see,
While certain answers have
an upside for you
there's just no upside for me."

If
If you can keep your head when all about you
  Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated don’t give way to hating,
  And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream—and not make dreams your master;
If you can think—and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
  And stoop and build ’em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings—nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!
Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the Pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
      For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud,
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is ******, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find me, unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
