How long will I love you?

Imagine that there is a planet
It's as big Jupiter
The planet is made of diamond
one of the hardest substances known

Once, each one thousand years
a swallow flies to the planet
The swallow brushes the planet
with its wingtip and then flies away

When the swallow has worn away the entire planet...
That's when I will think about stopping loving you.

Maybe.

A final kiss, ageing beams caress an expectant face
And trace her form with fingers warm, illuminating lace
Serene, she waits to feel the touch, Apollo's tender rays
Shadows long, the dying light claws the fading day

In early times, with wasted heat, passion burning high
He proudly blazed, shining blind and raced across the sky
Only now the day is done, he finds that she awaits
Impending death, he bares his soul, and curses insight late

Whilst sands run low and lamps run dry, he tangles with her hair
Drinks one last look, a final glance in softening despair
Closing eyes with single tear, he catches at night's door
But she is calm and knows anon, that they will meet once more

In my dream
I will give you a long hug

You will be my blanket
And I will nuzzle the curve
Where your shoulder joins your neck
The soft lips you feel against yours will be mine

As will the light touch
As I stroke your ribs with my fingertips

I miss you.

Wish I was there to keep you company
And sleep beneath the roses

Heads turn as the swan glides on still, still water,
The ripples trail tendrils behind
And my heart is the pond that feels this touch
As I realize this swan is mine

The rabbit is timid on the dew-dropped grass
Its eyes in the morning light do shine
And my lip is the grass that feels its bite
As I realize this rabbit is mine

White softness, the girl in the sunset glow
With features so fair and fine
And my heart is the one that feels her love
As I realize this daughter is mine
