The world seems to be blooming
But I cannot tell
Because of all the people
Who act like endless hell

I say
Get out of here
You don't belong

I say
This world is precious
The things you do are wrong

Their minds are so confused
Far too knotted to ever change
So they keep dragging others down
So that soon everyone's the same
Mary Neagle Jul 2015
The stories that you tell me,
Oh how they mix my mind
And when I search for answers
They seem too hard to find

And when I get tired of soul searching
And feel like I'm loosing time
I cannot help but wonder
If this story is really mine

Spring has come
Love is here
The birds will tweet
The gardeners will cheer
The bikers will ride
And the snow will melt
The flowers will blossom
And joy will be felt

In your presence
Heaven and earth collide

In your presence
All worldly distractions
Are push aside

For you are such a good father
Knowing exactly what we need
So when we enter this holy place
The veil covering us is peace
Mary Neagle Jul 2015
Fear not, my child
For the evil that creeps
Is far too wide to slip though
The cracks
To the door of your heart

The door is locked
For no force can break that chain
Except me, my daughter

You are so precious
And so beautifully raw

In my kingdom,
Nothing will touch you
For my perfect love
Has overcome the darkness

The stars
The moon
Leading me back to you

The sun
The trees
Unleashing my soul to be free
Mary Neagle Jul 2015
Go.
Yesterday you say today
Today you say tomorrow
Go out and change this place
Times not ours to borrow
