Our love was bounded
Between the oceans
Beyond the clouds
Here on the land
As I stood In Spring
And you In Winter
Under the same sky
With the variety of clouds.

Our existence lived in
Different timezones
And different seasons
With random people
On different reasons

Our prayers were filled
With the hopes
Of finding each other
Of crossing the path
Looking strangers
But the heart that
We recognized.

But our love was finite
By the people
We could never become
Or by what we could be
And by the loneliness we felt
As we laid still
In the middle of the night
Clothes were stripped out
With someone else
We barely knew.

In the night so deep
As we were wide-eyed
Staring on the ceiling
We found ourselves
Rhyming words for each other.

Palms open
Begging for more
Love was donated
With no feelings at all.

Eyes are pleading
Asking for more
Love was taken
With no mercy at all.

Knees on floor
Wondering why
Love fades away
Saying goodbye.

To die
is to live again;
In another body
In another life.

To wake up
is to live in a dream;
In another place
In another time.

To swim
is to be drowned
In a dark sea
In a dark night.

To love
is to be heard;
In the mind
In the heart.
To be myself
is a question
In unspoken words
In reflected hues.

A malady of ignorance
Struck your frail mind
Fancied to be cured
But worse were what you found
The remedy
To alleviate you with
Was perished and idled
Instead of you becoming sturdy
You were caught on demise.

Acquaint me with
    tantalizing wonders
Of stars and darkness
Of love as well as sadness
To ease my lunacy.
