I don’t know why

You want to see me cry

I don’t know why

You don’t know what’s within me

You don’t know I’m resting peacefully

You don’t know the blessing of serenity



O yes, I know I am blessed

O yes, my heart is at rest

Though you think I am the least

But in Christ I know I am complete

So be at rest my dearest friend

There is joy that only me can comprehend

If you want to know how did it happen

Come and listen to the Word of God be open

There are people in every nation

Seeking for an answer of a certain question

A question that will change their destination

If it is answered with a correct explanation



In their minds creeps in a lot of confusion

For the world is giving them different solution

A solution that offers hallucination or delusion

That brings them to eternal condemnation



This is the work of the god of all lies

Deceiving people with all his alibies

Offering them good things to make them his allies

Yes, fooling God’s people he is so wise



Sad to know that many got enticed

For all his tactics was not recognized

Because to an angel’s face he disguised

His plan to victimize people was realized



This is a wakeup call to all of us

It’s time to declare to them the name of Jesus

The Word of God to them we need to discuss

The message of the gospel to them we need to pass



All Christians should be united to destroy the work of the enemy

It could only be done if we offer our lives sacrificially

The lies of Satan will be destroyed utterly

If the name of JESUS is spread to the world widely

O, be careful who you are listening to

For you do not know how far you will go

The voices you hear you must know

Only to God you should follow



You will never go astray

If to God you will stay

He will always guide your way

If your ears from him you don’t cast away



You will know if the voice you hear is not God’s

If it encourages you to compromise

To listen to that voice is not wise

For his judgment is according to his own eyes



If following the LORD you are convinced

God will cause the death of his influence

For God wants you to focus to his commandments

Yes, he wants you to walk in complete obedience



He wants you to love Him with all your heart

From His precepts He doesn’t want you to depart

Worshipping Him alone is what He wants

Destroying idol worship He doesn’t want you to be hesitant



In following Him you should be brave

Wrong influences should be put in the grave

If you don’t He will grieve

For to Him you don’t truly believe

You don’t stay in a pen

But you search for a pasture that’s green

You make sure that the water is clean

And the place is safe to lean

You always know what happen

And ready to mend the broken



The flocks won’t go ahead

If your voice is not heard

Your voice alone they take heed

They’re not easily deceived

For they already perceived

The voice to them you translated



Yes, you are the shepherd

It’s you who prepared

What the flocks needed

It’s you who provided

You always go ahead

Your flocks aren’t misguided



I wonder how you’re able to sustain

You didn’t say a word to complain

Though sometimes your flocks didn’t listen

You still carry them with your arms widely open

To you who did ordain

That forever you remain



How could they pay you back

When wolves came to attack

For the flocks you became a rock

The ravening teeth you did hack

Their evil plans you did pluck

Before you they became a laughing stock



This is what shepherding is all about

There’s no place to walkout

There’s no room to hideout

There’s no time to burnout

The Shepherd of all shepherds is searching you out

JESUS is coming to pull you out

Destined to be alone

But not to feel misfortune

Chosen to be single

But not forbidden to mingle



To be alone and not to be lonely is impossible

Specially to those who don’t know the Bible

For them it’s miserable

If you remain untouchable



Should you feel disgusted of this point view

Please no for that’s what they knew

Only the world’s knowledge to them was blew

But with God’s Holy Word their mindset will be new



Whether you are single or double

In your heart there is a hole

That nobody can fill but God alone

For He designed it to make it His home



So you wonder why there are people who seem to have everything

But in their hearts they feel something is missing

You see them smiling but deep inside they feel like dying

For marriage, riches, power, and fame cannot change what they are feeling



Some decided to jump to end their own lives

Reasons of death mostly suicides

For emptiness is felt in depths

Desperation creeps in to their hearts and minds



If they gave up I cannot blame

For truly the heart is insane

It needs the right medicine

Relationship with Jesus to them we need to share

We say we belong to each other
Wow, it's nice to hear
We see each other as a mate
Well, I think it's great

But do we really treat each other as a buddy
Do we spend our time together qualitatively
For if not something must be wrong
And the truth will slap that we don't really belong

So let's evaluate together
Do we really care for each other
Do we celebrate each other's victories
Do we support each other's weaknesses

If it's a NO let's think again
Let's ask each other where have we fallen
For it's never too late
To change the conclusion of our fate

Tell me that I matter to you
And I will tell you that I love you so
Tell me that you want me
And to you I will stay

The sound of the bitter cries
Not without but within
Every tear that falls
It comes from a burning pain

The silent scream to be understood
This is what they long to be heard and behold
But instead of a merciful listening ear
It's a ravening mouth ready to tear

Is this what love had taught us
Is this what we've learned from JESUS
No, absolutely not!
For He came not for the righteous but for the lost

So cut off your pointing finger if you want to reach out
Pluck out your condemning eyes if you want to find the lost
Swallow your spit if you want to share your hope
And nail your feet on the cross if you want to spread God's love
