Teachers come and teachers go,
with new students every year.
But few teachers are so well loved,
remembered because they are so dear.
Teachers teach us lessons,
we could never learn alone.
They guide us, and they lead us,
out of our comfort zone.
You have gone over and beyond,
and taught me quite a lot.
And you even had faith in me,
when you knew that I did not.
You changed my world,
and you’ve changed my view.
And for that I’d like,
to say, “thank you”.
This is for the teachers who carried me through my journey. They taught me many life lessons, and ways to be a better person. I want to thank the few that continue to give me guidance.

In the great rift,
where everything goes adrift.
I feel the pressure on my shoulder,
I believe that I just overheard her.
Many things will come,
be sure that there is some.
Come all ye may,
and be ready to stay.
The rift in time is grand,
may you follow his hand.

Water deep and blurry,
led by the waves of change.
Many things do matter;
many matters do grace.
The waves of change are hurrying,
down the windy current.
The waves of change are coming,
may you stay nearby.
So, this is my first poem I've written. Never been much of a poet, but I figured why not. I doubt this is anything like what a poem is supposed to look like, but I'm giving it a shot.
