Some people say
I don't believe
In a god above
They can't perceive

They have never seen him
Or heard him speak
They scoff at believers
Consider them weak

They ask for evidence
To show he's there
Doubt why he would love us
Or even care

They say they've prayed
When things got tough
But he never heard
So they had enough

They then believe
When we die that's it
As a loving god
Doesn't seem to fit

Into this world
We dwell within
With hardened hearts
Their life is grim

My answer is ~then this perceive

His presence is transparent


Like the air we breathe

Happiness is a state of mind
Unto yourself
Be compassionate
Be kind

No room for judgement
Anger
Wrath
To yourself be true
On your destined path

Allow the time every day
To live~ enjoy ~your life
This way

Realise your worth
Your  own value
As you are unique
There's only one you

Understand your desires
Your thoughts
You'll find

That happiness

Is a state of mind~

A star is so much more than
A light that's shining bright
It's a symbol ~it's a guide
That led 3 men one night

By its presence it would show
The pathway to a king
That this world
Would come to know

They found him in a manger
Above that star
Was shining bright
He too just like the star

Standing tall

The aim it's beauty
To enhance
Patiently decorating every branch

In admiration I gaze a while
It never fails to raise a smile

Covered in ornaments
Head to toe
The branches tipped
With winter snow

Awash with colors shining bright
Adorned with twinkling fairy lights

A spiritual calm evoked by sight


As it lights the darkness  
Induced by night


Inspired~ blessed~ entranced are we
By the beauty of the Christmas tree

As Christmas time approaches
And we're eager to prepare
We should take the opportunity
To show we really care
It's not about the presents
Or the cards that people send
But about the heart of love we show
Upon which others can depend
There's many of your neighbours
Friends and family
That will feel sad or isolated
Without company
So why not think of others
In the spirit of good cheer
Spread the care and love of Christ
As his special time draws near

He sat alone looked blank and stared
Unaware that someone cared

I watched him look at people go by
Then a teardrop fell from his eye

I wondered then
What I should do
I was also a stranger he never knew

Didn't want to infringe upon his space
But he looked up and stared me in the face

I smiled at him
Kindness in my eyes
He then smiled back
To my surprise


I asked if he'd like to join me then
No longer a stranger
He's now my freind

An opportunity by chance
Arose just by a tender glance

It heals the heart
Nurtures the soul

When life gets tough
And takes it's toll

It instills a calm
Whenever there's fear
Reassurance of someone near

At times when words
Get in the way
This does more than they could say

When we feel like quitting
Pulling the plug
Often we only need
