Whenever I am troubled
By uncertainty and care
I read my holy bible
The answers always there
The covers old it's frayed and worn
Discoloured now with age
But the knowledge and the truths within
On every single page
The parable of the sower a favourite that I read
As Jesus speaks unto the crowd explains about the seed
So many proverbs to be found
To show us every day
Lots of wisdom left to help
guide along the way
If ever you are lost not found
Thinking no ones there to care
Just read your holy bible
As the answers always there ....

If your home is not a mansion

In fact it's really rather small

There's no storage cupboards

Stuff littered in the hall

Carpets looking rather worn

Chairs ripped at the seems

Floor boards loudly creaking

Gaps showing in between

Don't forget it's just a building

Still standing when you go

People won't remember this

Instead they'll surely know

It was how you made them feel
As they were greeted at the door

If you welcomed them with love
Like no other has before

For this you'll be remembered
Doesn't cost much to be kind
A pleasant smile
A gentle hug
Has most impact
On the mind

Be as patient - as a new bud flowering into bloom
Be as Inspiring -as the rose sweet as its perfume
Be as kind -leaving no room for resentment to be found
Be not envious nor arrogant-  spreading encouragement
All around
Be not one to hold a grudge
No records of wrong keep
Be compassionate
Embrace
All you come across  who weep
Be the one that people turn to
Harbour not a selfish glare
Be the one who gives their time
To all that need your care
Be reliable just listen
Show the gentleness of a dove

Follow these instructions
Sew the beautiful seed. of      Love ........

The question is not
Do you still love me ?

Rather

Did you ever?!!!

My mobile rang late in the night
Your number flashed across my phone
For a second I was in a daze
I hoped you felt alone
I wanted you to need me
I was hoping you would say

That you'd been -Thinking of me
And the thoughts would'nt go away
But you rang me for a reason
You wanted some advice
You didn't ring
Me once that night
In fact you rang me twice
But the reason you dialled my number
Was because you were in pain
So I told you what you had to do
Then you rang me back again?!

Never rang- because you missed me
Didn't ring me -just to say
Well anything about me or you ?
Instead you left me in dismay!

So now I finally realise
The feelings that I've got

(May mean everything to me ?)


(But to you)   certainly not!!!

You may have loved- now feel sad
You may not see good- now feel bad
You may feel burdened lost and weak
You may look weary
Unable to speak
You may believe your out of control
Your heart is lost somewhere with your soul
This time will pass
I tell you true
As I once felt
Just as you do
The roads been long
I've had to fight
Lost my ability to paint to write
But once again
You can clearly see
I'm writing again

Yes

I'm finding me.

Live to love
Then
Love to live
Don't
Give to take
But
Take to give
