that's the thing about endings
whether you see it coming or you don't
it doesn't matter

one day upon waking up you realize nothing's the same,
everything has changed
and you're hurting

you have woken up either sore from relief  - like as if a splinter has finally been removed out of your finger - or sore from a wound you thought has been healed but got infected
which, i dont know

two things you'll be left with:
(1) memories no one can ever replace
and (2) scars no one can ever erase

Sun's bright; it's morning
Everyday and every ray
Hope it signifies

Why do you keep turning my periods to ellipses?

Soon we'll grow apart
Like how the tree loses leaves
Smile 'til we say bye

Like a cherished poem
Everytime I read through you
Hidden verses show

With paper and pen
In hopes of seeing you smile
I'll write poems for you

I've endured so much
I gave up my smile for yours
Please say she's worth it
