Remember that time...
we all were unafraid?
The heart never feared
to continue its compelling crusade

Remember that time...
we all knew the right?
No ideas were left
to cause a  futile fight

Remember that time...
we all got along?
The soul could not oppose
with thoughts to sing song

Remember that time...
we all oozed with joy?
Only postilion "woe's"
No Greeks, Walls of thick Troy!

Remember that time...
we all were in good health?
No single state of sick
but forgetting which wealth

Remember that time...
we all adored nostalgia?
It's unfortunate- forgetting
history's true miscounted myalgia
Another quick write.
Nonplus~ Misguided, confused
Futile~ pointless
myalgia~ pain
nostalgia~ reflection on passed events - usually fond.

All the tears you've cried I won't leave in vain,

In years to come I will stop your pain.

My heart's desire.. to calm your fears,

When morning comes, there will be no tears.

For the doctor's call, we all stand fast,

My darling one, this sun won't be your last.

The sun will shine on many days ahead,

and w'ell raise our voices for you have passed the test.

Our many prayers were not in vain,

When November comes, w'ell push away the pain.

Born in blue ,died in white.
From far off seas she cried.
Fathered by winds from tropical hills.
Mothered by artic tide.

So off she set ,sisters in tow.
They dance, they chase ,they play.
Fishermen fear their shouts and their cheers.
Their boats they shake and sway.

And as i float not far from shore.
My paddle close to hand.
With one last breath.
I hear her voice.
As she sings to bag-n-bun sand..

each scar on your body
tells a story
of the battles you fought
in your head
and sadly did not win
but don't forget
that sometimes
you'll lose the battle
but one day
you'll win the war.

"Lost the battle, win the war."
Do not stand at my grave and weep..
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star-shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry..
I am not there. I did not die.

You.

The way your eyes
undress me and
strip me of my imperfections.

How your fingertips
glide along my skin,
snake like and familiar
with its terrain.

The gentle flutter of your
breath upon my ear lobe,
sweet nothings pouring onto
the ear drum.

And when you embrace me,
you support my head
like you would and infant's,
refusing to let me go until
absolutely necessary.

Then your lips call
for the tender touch of mine.
A simple exclamation
of my undying
Love
for
You.
I push,
you shove

and now
we're an ocean apart,

you ignore me
with every bottle

I count flower petals with
your name on them
Some days I am Ana's teacher, some days she is mine.
This morning, we look through her kitchen window,
the one she can't get clean, cobwebs massed
between sash and pane. The sky is blue-gold, almost
the color of home.
Ana, I say, each winter
I get more lonely. Both of us would like the sun
to linger as that round fruit in June, but Ana says
it's better to forget what you used to know...

The world is in such a state
of disarray.
People hate each other,
**** for sport,
and burn words of anger and envy into the hearts of their neighbors.
Countries drop bombs,
**** women,
**** children.
Why? We all ask.
It does not start at this scale.
It starts in the hearts
and minds of each one of us.
It starts in our households,
our neighborhoods, and
our communities.
A collaboration of the vibration
from each one of these communities
shows its ugliness and we
all ask why?
We must, as a humanity,
purify our own minds
and our own hearts.
Love your neighbor.
Love your enemy.
Not for what they have done to you,
but for what has been done to them.
The only reason someone hates
is because they have felt
the stinging pain of someone else's hatred.
The only reason they do not love
is because they have not felt
the natural warmth and transcendent power
of love.
So,
love your neighbor,
love your enemy,
and slowly our hearts,
then our communities,
then our countries, and
eventually the world will begin to change.
Each thought and vibration of energy
is like a stone caste into a lake.
The ripple starts small,
but can cause waves on the other shore.
So throw beautiful stones
and leave the ugly ones to rest.
