You fellas, Harley and Davidson
Pull your chaps and jackets on.
V-twin Thunder may be your passion.
But you also dictate leather fashion.

I think
Mason Williams wrote,
"Dylan Thomas has come and gone,
Come and gone, come and gone.
Dylan Thomas has come and gone;
His blood turned to words."

Rod McKuen wrote,
"I try to be a good beatnik,
But it's hard."

The Gospel writer John wrote,
"In the beginning was the Word,
And the Word was with God
And the Word was God."

Maybe we are a Word
Returning to the Word
And
Whatever we try to be good at
In the meantime is going to be hard.

But I could be wrong.

Teddy's Rough Riders at San Juan
Did not have their horses to ride upon.
They ran when they charged the enemy gunners.
So why aren't they called Teddy's Rough Runners?
*Clerihew: a four line poem (rhyming aabb) which names a celebrity in the first line and usually conclude with a surprisngly humorous or scandalous  barb. Meter may vary as the poet chooses

Steven Wright ,
Even a poem could write.
Would it not be just fine
Should he rhyme both ends of each line.
Notice that both couplets end in the expected aabb. Also note that the first words of each line rhyme a'a' b'b'. Isn't that interesting. I try to have fun writing these little things.
