Complacent eyes
perfect blue, perfect face--
painted, common.

Expensive clothes
barely clothes, but colored fabric--
"stylish", ****.

Eat the media
don't chew, just swallow--
sugar-coated.

***, because you can
measures your worth--
"good girl"

Money's easy
don't keep it long--
burn it.

Don't try too hard
keep your head low--
fade away.

Art is a lie
President's always right--
"amen, Jesus".

"The Sun Also Rises"
that's what they say--
just take it;

Painted, common, "stylish", ****, sugar-coated "good girl"...
"amen, Jesus"--burn it.
Fade Away.
Burn it.
Fade Away...

All alone in a darkened room, I continue to wait,
Silent and still, minutes and hours ticking away.
Wishing for the pain and tears to dissipate.
But they don't.
No matter how fervently I pray.

Grief, separation and loss echo my empty soul,
Words forever ringing hollow and dry.
My world now meaningless, an inescapable black hole.
The numbness always haunting me, it will never die.

Restless nights, never able to peacefully sleep,
The worst of the memories invade my dreams.
The anger and despair lock me away inside their keep,
I'll never feel anymore than this it seems.

I cannot continue to run,
Everyone will lose someone someday.
In no way am I the only one.

But because time will never lend,
Nobody ever stays in the end.

Love bites

So pure and innocent

But yet so tempting

Although they leave temporary marks on your body

The memories of how you got them will still be there

Like your favorite after dinner snack they mere thought of them entices you

It's just one of those bittersweet things that seem to be gone too quickly.

And doesn't return.

They are just innocent ways of affection that have made me love you even more.
I'll keep editing it. It might get explicit at times.

Society, the embodiment of human securities
Is in reality the stark confirmation
Of a conglomerate of screaming insecurities
Begging….its leaders….fervent introspection

Bending logic is an art perfected by all
Regardless of creed class or stature
No wonder the walk is seemingly a hard laboured crawl
Culminating into deep exposed…
psychological sutures

**Beings are bedevilled by a roving myopia
Craving a farfetched grandiose utopia
That’s why a bespectacled cynicism
Is ironically of essence…to neutralise a deep rooted parochialism
**random....musings**
Screaming in the chambers of your mind
Silently you wail in pain
There's no silence you can find,
He's in your mind, you're insane.
The birds are singing beyond your ears,
They say what you don't want to know,
Scatter your mind and face your fears,
There's nowhere else to go .
Search your heart and one day you'll find,
Silence is a myth.

The light in the tunnel has been turned off,
You hold out your hand to guide you,
No one will hold you and lead you on,
The darkness engulfed within you.
Blackened tears reflect in your eyes,
They hide away your right to see.
In the distance, muffled in a cry,
One day there you will be.
Search your mind and one day you'll find,
Darkness is a myth.

Someday at dawn you'll meet the lunatic,
He looks an aweful lot like the man in the mirror.
Burnt and broken you fall through the opening,
Into your mind, with the madman, trapped in a tear.
Hungry wolves emerge from your thoughts,
Devour you all and you're left behind to see,
Torn and withered , the soul that you fought,
Was yours, and all that remains is me.
Search your soul and now you'll see,
I'm just a myth.
Just like you, just like them.
Let's go on adventure
Deep into our minds
Running with child-like curiosity
Where there is no issue of time
Or money
Appearances
Perception
There is merely the world to explore
Schedule me for the lifelong tour
I want to see anything and everything
If possible
But of course there is
For there are no limits
Or so I believe
But this is not what they say
Instead it is 'Play it safe'
Or 'Settle down'
Or 'Find a routine'
To which I scream back
'Where is your sense of adventure!?'
When did you lose your spontaneous spark
When did you lose your will to love
To learn
To live.
When did you decide that mediocrity was safer than the extraordinary?
Was it not you who reminded me to dream big
To take action
To take the risks for the great reward?
Shame on you!
But alas, I cannot lambast
For there is no right way or wrong way
You have yours and I have mine
But I know which I prefer.
If life is either a daring adventure,
Or nothing at all
I shall take the adventure option.
