I saw armies of women
ripping fetuses out from
their unprotected wombs
Then judges of men
Burning them to a cross
On newly
manicured lawns
Nothing to see here
But an eye for a busted eye
And coal dark skin
made a crime
Your unleavened bread will
not save you
Perhaps covens of nature
loving witches will…

Lazy days are for
laying in the Sun
Belly up
dream gazing
fishing the sky
for portraits
the clouds
become divination
tools for sages
We are seers
of this crystal ball world
passing by
billowy in summer skies
Why you lament that you are alone

Stars in the sky are alone,

yet they twinkle with love.

Sun and Moon are alone,

Yet they have not

stopped giving light to us.

Live alone.

Love people from a distance.

Nearness to humans lead to

Propinquity and propinquity

in turn leads to conflict.

Your mind will then again long for

loneliness!

Mud is the battlefield
and we fight death
while the lotus goes unnoticed
We tend to breed greed
like despair is growing green
on the wrong side
We are jealous of them
and their pretty
picket fence
no matter why
they are so fly
women enter old age knowing
we've been cheated
out of youth

Women ignite yourself
burn in untamed desire
for the fever that breaks
into flames
pure essence of
lust awareness
that sits below the
root of the spine
You came here to
be wanton
to be entangled
in the mud of wild love
you are a gold
lotus spreading
across the divide
show yourself
and watch the world heal...

You have become a dull ache that sits just above the small of my back.  We have grown tall weeds between us. In bed you go fetal whenever I come within arms reach. failing to connect.  I am left alone with the chill of your silence as it mocks me sleepless in the echoes of the night.
a ceramic
coffee cup,
old percolator,
your wrists.

clink clink —

the stirring
of sugar.
