I wished for a great life
I was given a great mind.
I grasped every concept that made life simple.
I Witnessed nature in its purest beauty.  
Decoded every sign
Tasted the way the ground gave off a scent after it rained.
Touched the way the birds sang.
Heard the sun beam.
Saw tree bark radiate love to earth.
It was than I was able to realize
I was already given the breath for life

Journey the road of darkness to find
A missing piece
Into the abyss of eyes where what yyou seek is what you
Reap

I've ran the lines between fate
Dodged the arrows of karma
I've winked and laughed at death
As life stopped me at my tail
Ive drank wine with what's unspoken
Bribed the unforgiving 
I've stroked the misleading and held his hand while he was pleading 

I am lying still 
Every tear is spilling
Now I am the one who is caught
Chaos and destruction has hung me by the throat 
I have no emotion
I am restrained by pending gravity
Suspended by the grip of pain
It soars inside out my veins
Who am I to think I can run away?
