I will so desperately press my lips to yours
Tracing your lines with mine
Melting into one being
You and I

Submerged is the art of the water rushing over
The stinging bite of the frozen waves
The numbing shake of the boiling embrace
The turning of the rushing sea
Trying desperately to swallow me

There's still a bit of innocence
Deep within my heart
And my lover
My best friend
You're in so deep
You found it
And you make her blush

Listening is a complex activity
But I can't help myself
From staring out this window
At the birds, the flowers and trees
Gently being guided by the wind
On a sweetly flavored day
Right on the tip of spring
Pushing the thoughts of winter
Far far away

I just need a little help
A little hope
A little nudge into the light
I'm falling
Breaking
I don't know what this is
It hurts so bad
What's happening to me
Nothing triggered
This deep burning in my soul

A messy little poem for a messy day
KM Mar 2014
Stuck between the moment
Of reality and make believe
If I could grab a hold
I wonder which side would set me free

A gravitational pull
Keeping me locked between
A choice within myself
To others it remains unseen
Real quick collab with Mike Hauser :)

Fog
Sitting heavy on the sight
Filling her bones full of fright
Yet comfort and peace within
As she starts to feel some wind
The autumn leaves so damp together
Her bare feet in such cold weather
A tattered dress upon her figure
She calls to him and waits for answer
Time goes by and silence surrounds
Beating down like a hundred hounds
Till a sudden stir in the darkness nearby
As clouds roll in and cover the sky
Sneaking and creeping out of the dark
A man whose bite is worse than his bark
He takes her hand and twirls her about
Pushing away any fear or doubt
Holding her close and easing her pain
She sings to him, doing the same
Ballroom dancing in a graveyard scene
Keeping to the shadows to remain unseen
Sweet words and laughter fill the crisp air
And with each other, their hearts lay bare
Their bare feet in such cold weather
And the autumn leaves are so damp together
They start to feel the chilling wind
But warm from the peace within
The two of them, shining so bright
On a foggy autumn graveyard night
I've always wanted to dance barefoot in a graveyard on a foggy autumn night..
