If the sky could break,
would it shatter like glass,
or melt like a candle,
too tired to last?

Would the stars come falling,
like secrets we hide,
or would they just flicker,
then quietly die?

“Are you okay?”

Sweetheart, I write poetry
And some kindhearted people said I write it well

That can only mean one thing
My mind is an unescapable hell

“Yeah, just tired”

We don't know each other,
We have not seen each other.
Yet, we are bound together
by an invisible thread of emotions
in this world of words .

Together we stand ,
   with each other ,
    for each other.
A humble tribute to all the members of our beloved Hello Poetry family.
We're separated too much,

You're so far
Away

If I could be there I would,
If my bike had tires I could,

You are a need,
Addiction
Craving
Dream.
My mother warned me about drugs,
Good thing my high is you,

That's cliche,
But I'm at a lack of ways,
To truly just explain,

I

Love

You

the breeze makes a home
in my lungs
it
breathes for me
quietly
deliberately
fans and feeds
the tips and tails of
flame
between my lungs
a wildfire begging to be put out—
it
roars
anyway

i inhale

Maybe repeating stuff
Is the only acceptable pattern
In this patternless–chaotic world

your voice is a
low rasp
disguised as ambiance
you're a
wasp
and I’m the nest
you loud
little
pest
