Just laugh it off
Pscychologically....
...  much healthier in the inside
Just laugh it off
No one can hurt you
Unless you allow them to...

Be The Shining Light

You can sit and wonder where life has gone
And watch each year go past
Or have the life that others want
And take some time to laugh

Each morning as you start your day
You must open up your mind
See the world a different way
And leave the past behind

You can choose the side that others see
And help them follow you
Lead them to a better place
And show them something new

It matters not who you are
Or where you are in life
Guide the way for all to see
Be the shining light

Once upon a time...
there was a shift in the way Humankind
felt and thought and created
that was in the best interests of all
of the known Universe.

Manhood and Womanhood
stood shoulder to shoulder,
eye to eye, throwing their blessing
outward to the Sun and the Moon and the Stars.

Every beast was befriended
and not hunted for sport,
nor force fed for consumption.

The very trees and the grass
bowed their branches and
along with the Dandelions
they paid homage to the Alien
who originated far, far away.

Humankind began to rewrite
their own history which included
All of the gods, Male and Female.

Now isn't that a doable Fairy Tale.

People speak to me about the "light at the end of the tunnel."
Some seek to reassure me, others confess their blindness.
I try to believe that the light moves as day and night do-
At times there is only darkness, yet we are assured that the sun will rise each morning.
Centuries have proven such.  Our lives are too small to perceive each blindness as passing.
Still, we put faith in time, in seasons, in dawn, in dusk.  We are the same.
Cyclical beings in a cyclical world with cyclical thoughts.
Know that your darkness is but a night without stars.
And that the sun must rise, a pale light that builds into a separate and most welcome blindness.

They See A Different Me

I know it's just the outer shell
That other people see
Not knowing who I am inside
They see a different me

They think they know who I am
And how I will react
Only see what they want
Not gather all the facts

They will not ever question
Can't bare to know the truth
Think they have the answer
To why I act the way I do

They do not know how I feel
Not exactly where I stand
What it is that I believe
Or who I really am

I know it's just the outer shell
That other people see
Not knowing who I am inside
They see a different me
