our love could be a different kind of beautiful.
one where we don't raise our voices to hear each other.
one where we only want the best for each other.
one where that can make it past a sea of land dividing our hands.
one where we buy a house on the west side,
so we can watch the sun slip into the arms of the sea each night.
one where we miss out on.
one where I never forget you,
and you never forget me.
our love could be the one that is forever.
maybe our forever isn't together, maybe our forever is as friends.
and maybe I was foolish to say goodbye
and maybe it was wise to end it last night.
time time time will only tell, or maybe the silence will be times answer.

Driving along an empty street
at 6pm you
reach the beach.
The sun is halfway set.
You sit there and watch it sink into the ocean.
you think it's gone but then you remember
something you read a long time ago.
You run up to the lifeguard tower
and climb to the top.
When you get there, you can see
a sliver of the sun, setting again.

Nothing is ever gone if you remember
to change your perspective.

she looks at the girl
in front of her
her lips bruised
her eyes hollow

she hated what she saw
they were right
fat, ugly, unwanted
their words branded her skin

she could feel herself fading
her desire to be on this earth
is gone

she grabbed a piece of paper
and spilled her sorrows
for tomorrow
she's gone

popcorn venom-
no I
won't, you dumb
c----

watching you become
daunted by my
expectations.

truth-
can't let anyone
down if you

throw
back  the
catch
without eating
it.

I'm smiling quiet,
gazing at your face in my head
tracing the indents of your mouth,
behind the backs of my lowered lids.
in the distance we
are close,
laced in the fingers of our souls,
even when I'm empty,
you make me whole.

I am one thing to myself.
to you I'm another....
to the mirror
I am broken reflection.
to my dad,
I'm a visitor.
to guys
I'm just a toy.
to girls
im the one they only want sometimes.
to the church
I am a ****** up teen that's made too many mistakes.
to society
I am the shy one, that shows her self sometimes.
the one always looking for the lost sheep only realizing that i am that lost sheep among many.

where do i find my self in all these tittles?

i was raised here
i watched people come and go seen them grow old here...
I've watched my dad walk away from here.
through the years I've only grown further away.
how come church is where i always feel ashamed.
how come church is where I'm criticized.
HOW COME YOU EXPECT SO MUCH FROM ME?
on Sunday that's the one day I'm good enough....
then on Tuesday I'm a disappointment.
and I'm only good if i am on the worship team.
**** wheres me?

some rather dark nights
seems the moon's on vacation . . .

1.
Look, here comes courage
Dragging the moon in its teeth
While stars dapple in its tangled fleece
Go on, you!
Go and put the moon back up in the sky
Where it belongs

2.
Tenebrous nite falls on square
Yet a caged moon shines courageous slivers
Most haunting melodies
Then that dark figure appears
Trying to steal it away

With black birds flapping round him
Like a sombre halo over him
He slinks off into the welcoming shadows.

3.
Girl with long blonde plaits
sits on water-lily petal-pads
In the middle of a mild mere
Mauve moon lies tame in her still palms
But the wrong notes suddenly play out
Harmony not quite jacked up

4.
Elemental whirlpool explodes
As sceptred figures hunch in red dust
A flash of green sky
white elephants drown in shallow puddles
angels sit on the edge of blue teacups
while thoughts crisscross

and moon hops away
galaxial order pleased

put the moon back
where it belongs

let it hang there . . .
in the sky*

Just some moon-thoughts....written a few days ago.

Wonder if the moon is hostage to our orbit ... poor satellite.
