John my son how I’ve missed you so.
There are so many things that you need to know.
But first let me start by saying I’m sorry.
Now I have done that I don’t need to worry
It played on my mind for many a year
I’m not ashamed to say I shed a tear.
There are some many things that I want to say
maybe late at night or the first light of day.
I cried and cried when they took you away
It was all my fault it was so hard to say.
I wasn’t sure if I could carry on. But I did, and I have,
and I am so proud to say you are my son
Someday we will meet for that I cannot wait.
It could be early morning or so very late.
Until we meet you’ll never know how much I truly love you so

She had tears coming down her face
Her children were being taken away
She had given birth to six children.
She had them to one man
She loved them like any mother would
But her own demons destroyed her
She gave birth to six more children
only for them to be taken away
The men in her life were not the best
Her addiction to drugs were her downfall
Her addiction to *** were her downfall
She was a neurotic middle class woman
Gave birth to twelve children
Who were all up for Adoption
I still love her and always will

I walk by still waters
I look out on to the lake
Swans graciously gliding

The chainsaw in the shed
The tools left on the workshop floor
The work is nearly done

Birds sing in the trees
The first light of dawn rises slowly
The morning is upon us
