Rise Up
KC Elstun Feb 2014
Rise up! Rise up! The hour is here; the moment now! Look at how the day begins like new snowfall on green grass!

Rise up! The trees whisper your name in God's own voice; a well wishing from eternity!

Rise up! Rise up with me and celebrate this gift! It is the gift only the chosen can know. It is the gift of the existance of supreme and everlasting love!

Burden
KC Elstun Feb 2014
I know better. How much do I know better; a little or a lot?

Enough to know I don't know enough. Enough to know that the more I know the more difficult my path becomes.

My knowledge becomes a burden. It is the burden of enlightenment. It is the burden of the blessed.

"To he whom much has been asked, much will be required. To he whom much more has been asked, much more will be required."

In This Life
KC Elstun Feb 2014
In this life we fool ourselves into thinking,
that all our past mistakes are like the breeze that brings a stink; it will come and it will go.

And that there is no reason to cling to our errors; that regret is somehow a sin.

Regret is not a sin. It is the indelible reality of our past mistakes. Pray that you may have the strength to endure it and the wisdom to avoid it.

Most Favorite
KC Elstun Feb 2014
You are my most favorite person ever;
In the news, in the blues, in the kiss of everlasting memory.

Come and play with me. We can be together like rain and the sound of God's voice.

No monk, kneeling and weeping in the cloister, ever wept tears as sweet as mine for you.

Stop Starting
KC Elstun Feb 2014
Let's begin the ending by simply ending the notion of a beginning,

and end the false starts and trick endings by saying that there is no harm in stopping the start of another beginning.

In the end we stop starting over anyway.

Indelibly
KC Elstun Feb 2014
Indelibly you spill your love onto me.

You stain me forever with yourself.

It isn't you who I am stained by; it is us.

Forever marked; like the dawn marks the day.

Refuge
KC Elstun Mar 2013
you are my refuge

you invite me to comfort in distress

you give me warmth in the cold

you protect me and renew me, that I may continue on my way

thus it ever was...

thus it ever was...

— The End —
