In my repeating dream I would see you...
me..wandering the street that I grew up on
small town Ohio.
asking people where to find you
you..waiting at the cul-de-sac ...
I walk one step at a time... slowly
you standing in the sun light
white and the wind swirling
unbelievably beautiful
dancing with children
as they play and run around you
the light playing off the scene
my vision in a movie reel
there come moments even in another world
that change your life...
my heart pounding in my ears
we kiss and hold each other, the picture twirls
and I say ...
"I love you and always have"
you softly whisper, " I know, I have been waiting for you"
the scene twists and turns
my heart pounding .... I wake, eyes wide
20 years later after searching
through many souls
piling hearts on a mound
I found you.
a split second moment
turning to see you
the crowd at a market as chaos brews
caught your beautiful eyes
you caught mine, it all began..
now in this world,
blessed as we are in our beautiful
and ongoing collision.
