I am baffled by those who build walls
around someone who is not there

Walk into the ecstasy of the night
leave behind the broken hearts and the shattered glass
let the images dissolve into dust
and let your vision adjust to
the beauty of nothingness
the miracle that is blank
walk deeply into the ecstasy of the night
and think not of how to get out.

To pick a flower you risk touching a thorn
I am often left pondering whether the thorn is worth picking up a flower

Of all the right things
i have chosen the most at fault
i wonder if this means anything, perhaps not.
