Pain

******* once swept past my door stopping only for a brief moment.
Wreaking havoc Straining, spitting lunging anger and misdirected truths
Smiling softly, throwing insults into a face of innocence
Destroying the essence of beauty and faithfulness

Pure love cast aside by wickedness, Unfeeling, unjust accusations
Unmatched fury, bitter pride spewing forth obscenities of half eaten hate
A future wracked with pain and sorrow, desolate emptiness never ending fear.
Crushing resistance of commonsense, ending all hope

Fleeting moments of happiness, promises made, promises UN-kept, wringing hands of frustration
Stirring emotions of unfulfillment, and discontent
Seeking “nay” desiring solace in the arms of understanding
Giving all, breaking all vows for moments of contentment

Only thoughts of death to stop the pain, only to wake and feel again
Selfishness rears its ugly head, and smiles at the havoc wreaked
Love nurtured from an evil past, masked by innocent eyes.
Black sated desires, Intentional destruction of love.

Wilted rose clinging to hope. Unnoticed tears, fear supersedes all
Numbed pretense of happiness, escape inside.
Wander through mundane existence, Empty smiles, and soulless eyes.
Watching lovers embraced in happiness. Endless envy.

This prison, this life of darkness, this shameful  existence
Hold together your true self. Unlock the beauty inside.
Wisely hear words of knowledge, speak to the pain. Re-live to lessen the hurt.
Open doors long locked, enter the domain of evil. Cast out doubt, and insecurities

An extended hand of happiness and safety, unconditional affection.
Surrender to love, and tenderness, embrace childhood dreams of love.
Awaken to a smile, a slight kiss, a lasting embrace
Sweet whispers of undying love. All passions fulfilled.

I am evening's alpine glow, drawing you out west across the canyon
I am the stranger who comes to you in dreams even though
They say you can only dream of things you know
I am
A brass bowl of your hopes
No more than some faraway notion
I taste of the ocean
I am the beat of your future heart
Barking at the moon, a little fool, a little sad, but
You're the one who dreamt me up on some lonely summer's day
And I am
The grass you laid upon that day
I make you itch
And I am
The stones that bruised your feet as you walked the river's edge
You thought that you were ready
I make you ache
But when this year comes to an end, too
I'll be
The dust you shake from your winter clothes
The spider you find hiding in your sheets
And the scrap of paper you use to set it free
I am the perfect lover you will probably never meet
The secret you could never know or keep
And all you can do is watch for me in your sleep
And all you can do is wait
Or not wait
For me in all the quiet places
And don't forget your dreams in daytime

Funny how we woke up in the morning
and pretended that tomorrow never happened—
strutted naked in mirrors celebrating our youth,
laughing, knowing suns and moons couldn’t do the same.

We borrowed our arms from the fridge
and peddled bicycles with bad breath—
trading war stories ‘cause we knew
if we came back alive
life would still be the death of us.

If enough won't join you
and the machine is too big
use your wits
obliterate the rust
snap the fulcrum
grind the gears
and walk away
I think I just found a way
Let's play a corporate game. I won't be devoured I see what you are but am wise enough to utilize and not lose sight.

I seem to have lost,
my inspiration,
I don't know where it went,
it is hiding from me.
Every word I type,
is a struggle
to even come up with.
I don't feel creative,
I don't feel alive,
I just don't feel
right.
My thoughts
are locked up,
in a strong box,
that sits,
in the depths,
of my mind,
and my words,
to me,
don't seem to flow,
everything,
is all choppy,
and I don't like it.
I feel like
i'm dragging,
ideas,
out of my head,
letting them rip apart,
on the thorns my imagination
left behind,
and bleed slowly,
on the ground,
scattering,
and destroying themselves,
shriveling up,
in a ******,
pool,
of unfortunate ideas,
that never make it,
to paper,
and they die.
I can't remember them,
they don't sit in my mind,
and they lose their,
significance,
to me.
And I feel guilty,
because of,
this block.
I feel like i'm murdering,
my ideas,
and they're innocent!
and i'm killing them,
without a second thought!
I hope some inspiration hits me soon,
because if it doesn't,
then I don't know,
what I will do.
All day long I was working on a history term paper and it just completely deprived me of my imagination and creativity for today, and all I have in my head is facts, and me trying to organize them. Hopefully writing this, will awaken my imagination... I already tried reading some of my other works and that didn't help, I just ended up judging them and cutting them down and almost deleting them, so I stopped and wrote this right away. My inspiration better come back soon or I might go missing for a while..... i'm sorry if that happens, if it does, then I... i'll come back, I just don't know when...... I'm sorry....
Through a wet night,
And beside an ancient moon,
Came the wolfs howling croon,
Sacred trees breath,
And fire exhausts the soft air,
True Leopards lair.

Lying with eyes of beauty,
And the quiet stillness of perfection,
Silent and soothing,
The velvet wind,
As she licks and teases,
Flicks and breezes under my skin,
And again I'm within her secret layer,
Easing, breathing,
United duelation,
The birth of a nation swims silently in the dark,
Probing sublimation,
Soft and smooth,
To the end of the groove,
And still no more to move,
For sweat speaks exhausted talk,
And pleasure retires to reincarnate,
We've breached the gate,
Coupled warmth smothers,
The light fades,
Woven bodies beneath the moon,
Sleep now for we will awake soon.

Winter blasts, shrieking as pierced crystal in moonlight,
her figure trembles by the brinks edge.
Striking the center of her mind was a lost knight,
grabbing her sobs with tears frozen midcheek, before free falling from the ledge.

Spring, she wished to forget, when maid and man met,
stolen glances, verbal advances, a skins breach of indecency.
A single solitary evening was set, a tryst between Lachlan and Lizbet,
a tangled two caught in treasonous secrecy.

Blistering and bold, the summer, unforgiving,
imprisoned Lizbets' waist increases.
Lachlans' fate--no longer with the living,
a Lord may punish adultery as he pleases.

Fall, where all surrender to die,
a babe forced out silent, the demise of labors hope.
Barely clad the woman lingered, as did her lie,
the sentence one of repugnance and a length of hanging rope.
