demons

demons, they chase us,
demons, they race us,
the fear in our eyes,
we dont realize,
crushes us like were in a vice,
from our own departing souls,
emerge many screaming ghouls,
"we need help" they cry,
while they scream into your eye,
"you will die",
they pry and pry,
at our failures,
until they realize the days yours.

“Who are you?
I’m your dad.”
Those are the first unspoken words,
Between a son and a dad.
“You know what dad? You’re my hero.”
Those are the second unspoken words,
Between a son and a dad.
“You’re the worst dad I hate you!”
Those are the third unspoken words,
Between a son and a dad.
“Dad I need help, my life *****”
Those are the fourth unspoken words,
Between a son and a dad.
“Please don’t leave me dad, I need you.”
Those are the final unspoken words,
Between a son and a dad.

Dad I want you to know,
Your not all that bad,
I love you so,
This I think you’ll never know.
I hope you know,
I love you so.

Listen. Listen! Can’t you hear Her cry?
Can’t you hear Her bitter goodbyes?
What are we doing to Her?
Why are we destroying Her?
I just wish it would stop?
I wish to call the cops.
Maybe that would make it stop?
Listen. Listen! That is all I ask!
Why wont you do anything?!
Come on! Get off your ***!!!!!
Save us all! This isn’t science class!
Please. Please. This is all I ask.
Why can’t we complete this simple task?
