I have trekked across a desert
I have sailed the seven seas
I have seen so many wonders
To bring me to my knees
But none of it really matters
When you're all alone
Because seeing all these wonders
Is nothing on your own

Sharing these experiences
With someone that you love
Be it friend, brother or lover
Is like a gift sent from above
The pyrimids seem so much bigger
And the oceans seem more vast
Being with that special someone
It makes those moments last

When you're with that special someone
Simply drinking a cup of tea
Can be so incredible
Like hearing a symphony
Looking for that someone
Is only the very start
In life's greatest adventure
The mystery of the heart
For K&H

Little black gems
Amongst a rich kingdom of teal
The gold, tearing to their escape
Caught in the field
Frozen in their attemt to abscond
Frozen in permanence
Forever staring

You wanted to build
Build up a wall
You wanted to start
Start a revolution
You wanted to fly
Fly above the rest
You wanted to follow
Follow nobody
Yet here you stand
Standing in line
For the revolution

You wanted to lead
Lead the lot
You wanted to speak
Speak to their hearts
You wanted to inspire
Inspire the common man
You wanted to lay
Lay down the law
Yet here you stand
Standing in line
For the revolution

You wanted to gain
Gain their trust
You wanted to inflict
Inflict whats deserved
You wanted to trust
Trust all of your friends
You wanted to look
Look down and smile
Yet here you stand
Standing in line
For the revolution

You never wanted to fall
Fall from grace
You never wanted to escape
Escape from your fate
You never wanted to cry
Cry for the lost
You never wanted to drink
Drink on your own
And here you run
Running away
From the revolution

You never wanted to fail
Fail them all
You never wanted to scream
Scream to the deaf
You never wanted to fade
Fade away
You never wanted to die
Die like the rest
So here you lie
Lying alone
With no revolution

So you think it will help you
Finding that new style?
You know for a fact
That it doesn't change a thing
You will always wonder
What would of happened
If you'd of stayed with me

So when you close your eyes
Is it my face that you see?
Because when I close mine
It's not you staring back at me
Going back to square one
It's time I'm moving on

Do you ever stop
And think, what's the point?
Do you stare at those old pictures
And have them shaking in your hand
I've got past that now
It's about time you did too

Do you read back our conversations
Reminisce our past contemplations
Whether it was policies or feelings
That really move the nations
Or if it is music or poetry
That really moves the heart

I don't get that feeling
When I walk past your house
You used to make me smile
Now you barely twitch my mouth
Yeah, it's true I have my doubts
But It's sanity that shouts...

No more

So when you close your eyes
Is it my face that you see?
Because when I close mine
It's not you staring back at me
Going back to square one
It's time I'm moving on

Look in the mirror
You say you're nothing
Look what you've got
You've got it all

So stop that thinking
And stop that drinking
That's not the cure
It's not your future
It's locked in certainty
That's not your destiny

Are you sitting on your own?
Are there tears?
Or are you smiling?
Because it's not so bad

So stop that thinking
And stop that drinking
That's not the cure
It's not your future
It's locked in certainty
That's not your destiny

Soft and slowly
It's how it happens
But that's never the end
They're still your friend

So stop that thinking
And stop that drinking
That's not the cure
It's not your future
It's locked in certainty
That's not your destiny

Look in the mirror
You say you're nothing
But that's never the end
They're still your friend
Are you smiling?
Because it's not so bad

So stop that thinking
And stop that drinking
That's not the cure
It's not your future
It's locked in certainty
That's not your destiny

Have you ever loved someone who didn't love you back?
Have you ever loved someone who fell through the crack?
Have you ever loved someone too drunk to see?
Have you ever loved someone like... me?

My blank wall is white just to fit your name
My disc is scratched cos it played your game
my minds all ******* cos you're in my life
The only thing left is to pull out the knife

Slow down girl, you move too fast
It's just a kiss, make it last
Close your eyes, its in the past
Slow down girl, you move to fast

Don't let it bother you, let it all go
Move soft and gently, go with the flow
Your a pernament thought in my head
Your a space waiting in my bed

Slow down girl, you move too fast
It's just a kiss, make it last
Close your eyes, its in the past
Slow down girl, you move to fast

I just can't take it, it's got too much
I need to know, if I can touch
I'ts too late now, to start that game
I just can't put a face to that name

Slow down girl, you move too fast
It's just a kiss, make it last
Close your eyes, its in the past
Slow down girl, you move to fast

Nothings quite the same now
When i say your name out loud
I'm falling back, into the dark
Becoming one of the crowd
I'm always feeling lonely
But i'm never alone
Got nobody to love me
No house to call a home

Slow down girl, you move too fast
It's just a kiss, make it last
Close your eyes, its in the past
Slow down girl, you move to fast

This is not a race
Some filth disgrace
This is love so let it show
Come on little girl and take it slow

Slow down girl, you move too fast
It's just a kiss, make it last
Close your eyes, its in the past
Slow down girl, you move to fast
Slow down girl, you move to fast

The feelings dead, just shout it out now
The feelings dead, just admit it, be proud
Open the doors, look inside, into our lives
Tell me whats there, is it cold and empty?

I've been standing up for so long
I've been sitting down for so long
I've been stuck right here for so long
Have you felt the same for so long?
It's all thats here, so far, so far

When I see a star, I think of times gone by
It felt so real, It felt so high
But you sink, sink, sink into the night
Never thinking to cast some light

I've been standing up for so long
I've been sitting down for so long
I've been stuck right here for so long
Have you felt the same for so long?
It's all thats here, so far, so far

When you struggle and when you twirl
I will always be here for you girl
I'll never let you fall, never let you fall
If you never forget, never forger me at all

I've been standing up for so long
I've been sitting down for so long
I've been stuck right here for so long
Have you felt the same for so long?
It's all thats here, so far, so far

Is there a happily ever after?
is there a world filled with laughter?
Or are our lives filled with hate
All our feelings left way too late

I've been standing up for so long
I've been sitting down for so long
I've been stuck right here for so long
Have you felt the same for so long?
It's all thats here, so far, so far

Oh,I've been standing up for so long
I've been sitting down for so long
I've been stuck right here for so long
Have you felt the same for so long?
It's all thats here, so far, so far
So far
