Your name is everwhere
on every page, which
my hands have met
on the walls and ceiling
behind my eyes

Now i see, you have left me
but the love of
my hands
has not gone

The memories
have etched themselves
on every line
I am unable
to turn the page

Empty house
All Alone
white noise wakes me
the sound of nothingness
creeping in

My eyes close
I see her
space separates
me from my loves embrace
my eyes open

my feeble
weak voice
I breathe her name
echoing in the dark
nothingness

Every kiss you gracefully gift me
brings forth butterflies
the monarchs which first
came to my acquaintance

Every time you walk from me
my body loses something
is not something that i can
explain although its not something easily forgotten
every time I retreat from your side
a piece of me goes missing
i feel it itching, burning
somewhere deep inside me

Every time you hold tighter
my body reacts the same
my knees go weak
my heart skips beats
while my skin aches for yours

every time i lay in bed
without the gift of slumber
i think of your voice
and sleep seems to take me

An anchor
Settled deep in the sand

The blue sky
shining bright above me

the ocean
stretches before my eyes

my love waits
for my homecoming

triumphant
i will return to her
