Cold

Everytime a blade enters my bloodstream,
I feel closer to you.
Not because of anything else, more than the fact that
You hurt me.
The cold blade, like your cold words, cuts into me;
Blood pouring out.
And in the same way as before, I bleed and ache;
I am hurt.
My blood, warm as my love was for you,
And you don't care.
I can only imagine our happiness now,
I can no longer feel it.
Same too with my image of you, it is going, fading
Behind my cloudy eyes.
Its okay though dear, because I am now weak,
I am cold like your heart.
And no matter what you said or will say,
You can't tear us apart.
Because I will always love you.

The real world is a bitter cold place
With a heart made of stone
Not built for those of us just stepping into it
Blindly.

There isn't time to breathe,
All you do is work, and stress, occasionally taking a moment;
Simply a single instant of your time,
To blink.

Well, there is a difference, my friend, in know the societal norms,
And being shoved head-first into the whirlpool of life,
Only to get ****** into the hell of our
Society.

That feeling is full of terror, fright, and tears.
So I must take the occasional instant of my time,
To blink away the tears,
And continue on.

We slip and get back up, yes,
But the bridge between childhood and adult hood does not exist,
It's the leap of faith that forces you to grow up in an instant,
Face the fear of falling millions of miles to your death, and go for it anyway,
And fly.

Frisk
what if the pen was the scalpel, ripping our chest open with flowers sprouting out haphazardly
what if we had the sun running through our veins, and night time made us temporarily unconscious
our bodies react as the paper, you let a stranger take a pen to you trusting them not to shred the floral
when one of the magnolias, gardenias, or chrysanthemums are cut, the rest all fall like dominoes
and the sunlight scatters like mice into new hosts as you spiral downward into unconsciousness
the secret of how i flourished through drought was my optimism and faith in others who failed me
the science of how i got through these psychological traumatic experiences were questionable
the seconds i've spent thinking about it have been seconds wasted forgetting about my future
i don't trust the time, i'm always caught observing the clock making sure that it ticks
maybe i don't believe in it's mechanics, it's acute accuracy, or it's clockwise spin
it's the numbers i don't trust, i'm certain of it, we're all made of numbers
we're all seconds, hours, days, months, and years counting down

Dark n Beautiful
Some folks would tell you that a Demon
lived in all of us

A ****** is a thief
Some public defenders isn’t smarter than his or her clients
One is not required to serve as a juror: on every case

With that in mind:
To create a mental trend is easier.

A train to the plane
isn't insane
however, it’s would be really shocking to
find a hockey player who is tame:

A Police officer with all his fear and anger
A cook without a kitchen:
Is like tango without jingo
A philosophy without any gaps

The new breakfast drink debut
Ice coffee in the morning
Mocha latte' all day
Please don’t interfere with what work
for us throughout the day

I am a woman that follows the warmth
unlike a
tree that wouldn’t blossom
Was it worthless creation?

You can eat tree bark
While the lark
Build its lowly nest
On the ground
A philosophy without any gaps
a client who relapse

We all have a way of asking each other
How are you feeling?
Sometimes, we just have to pretend and
Say
I am feeling fine today,
just for pete sake:
or the long chit- chat conversation

Society
Has force us into a predisposed panic situation
I usually take myself
away from the jaws of distress
And allowed my body to de-tress
So that I can allowed the poetess within
To take hold of the wheel
while I whisper a soft pray
“restore to thee my own,
Once again, I demand the throne”

Pains

I like to watching my blood
As it oozes out of my veins.
I like to watch myself suffer,
At so much, as the sound of your name.

I watch the blade
While it enters my skin.
The skin splits open,
And the steel knife sinks in.

My veins open up,
Like the Red Sea,
And blood pours out
All over me.

The more I stab,
The more numb I feel,
Good thing I have a knife
Beside me at every meal.

The deadness of my body and soul
Is quite clear to see.
I like stabbing myself because it feels good
Compared to the pains you've caused me.

I fell so hard for you,
And you just let me fall.
I was in love with you,
I was in love with it all.

From your first "hello",
To your last "good night",
I was in love with you,
And it all felt right.

Looking back;
I knew I was in love,
You were my last thought before sleeping,
And my first when I woke up.

The way you smiled,
And talked, and walked,
The way you held my hand,
And got us lost in the dark.

It was all perfect,
Just right, to say the least,
I couldn't imagine my life without you,
But it all happened so fast and those moments ceased.

I miss the way you looked into my eyes,
And how you kissed me good night.
I miss the love we once shared,
The love that always felt so right.

And now you got my heart hurting,
From spending all night with those memories.

So I miss you in the spaces
Where your hands go
The between times
In our sleeping
Where maybe we aren't even touching
But I can feel you
Hear your breathing
In the spaces in between
Sweetening my blood
Flowing thick
Like mesquite honey
Hummingbirds in my stomach hovering
And drinking
their fill

And I'm enough for something
Sustenance for something
Other than me
Enough for someone
Who sees my betweens
And puts his hands
Where they need to be
Warms them
On my belly full of flowering mesquite
Nectar for the humminbirds
And bees
