Don't let my absence take you by surprise
I promised I'd wait for you
When you wake up and open your eyes,
And turn to your side
But I'm gone.
Never to return again.

i have lost feeling on the bottom of my right foot.
i stepped on a broken something
and its sharp edge cut my nerves.
it is one of many.

Anna Falls
Closing in
On a deep thought,
Always there
To make me rot.
Never ending pain
That seems to burrow.
Oh my heart,
It fills with sorrow.
It spreads like fire,
In my heart it fills,
Consumed by desire,
Every moment it kills.

Anna Falls
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling-place.

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent.

George Gordon, Lord Byron (1788-1824)
One of my favorite poems.

New
She wished for him to be perfect,
for him to be safe, and for him to love her.
He used her want for lust and comfort in his
own awful, selfish games. Never will he be
wished for, lusted for, or wanted by her again.
Once more she must pick up the broken pieces
of her heart and carry them to another.
On her way to a new life and a new way.

Scream.

Empty hallways stretch before me
I look around and darkness surrounds me
I hear a scream
Encroaching blackness...
I realize it's only me
Scream. Scream.
Push back the night.
I push it back with all my might
My mind is too weak
Scream. Scream.
And every day empty hallways stretch before me.

Better

It will get Better in time.
Tomorrow will be Better.
You will get Better.

A day, a month, a year, I haven't seen Better.

The scars may fade but the memories remain.
And my surrounding may change
But no matter where I am, all people are the same.
They say are you okay?
Walk away, their day doesn't change
whether I say I'm fine or I'm going to die today.

"It will get Better."

So please people of the same world but a different universe,
Tell me when "It gets Better"
So I can too.
