RELIGION WON’T GET YOU INTO HEAVEN
A certain man had a strong religion,
Upon which he was depending
To get hm into Heaven.

One day he tripped and fell,
His strong religion could not
Save him from Hell.

Religion is self-righteousness
Made up of the good
Works of the flesh.

To get into Heaven,
You have to Believe
In God’s only Begotten

Son who suffered the pain
For for all your sins,
The pain and shame.

So why not call upon Him?
In childlike faith believing, Jesus
Personally die for your sin.

THIS WORLD SYSTEM
        John 17:1-6; 11-18

Subj. -The world

Prop: The Bible speaks much about this world in which we live /and usually not in a good way.

Object: From this message I hope to illuminate our understanding about
why God warns us about the dangers
of getting chummy with this world…..

2. The world’s Design
3. The World’s Danger

I. The world defined -IJohn 2:16; 5:19
   A. Gk. Xprts: “world” is a system that operates
on the foundation of “The lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and
        pride of life.”

C. Worldliness is pursing the activities of   life, with no regard or thought of God’s will… no consideration of whether God is pleased with our activities.
   1. Even innocent activity pursued apart from God can be classified                                                       ­             
       as worldly, not so much the activity itself, but the attitude of the        
       the activity.
  2. For example, I knew a man who was   so taken up with dirt track
     racing, that he neglected his wife and children. His wife divorced
     him and his kids ended up in prison.
       a. There is nothing sinful about racing in itself, but his attitude
           towards it made it worldly.  

II.  The World’s Design

Ephe. 2:2 explains to us that Satan god of this world system is the prince of the power of the air and the spirit that now worketh in the children of (mankind) of disobedience

A.  Who are these children of disobedience?
Anyone who has not believed in Christ a personal Savior.

B. Anyone who pursues this world’s
    Godless system based on the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye
and pride of life.”

  
C. It doesn’t have to be something immoral such as adultery, ******* or some form of ****** transgression; it could be:
         * Self-centeredness
         * Selfishness
         * Lying/cheating
    * Arrogance
         * Unforgiveness
         * Jealousy
   *Just plain ol’ meanness
       IOW anything that breaks the bottom half of 10 comm. “Thou
      shalt love thy neighbor as thy self.”
      b. Nor does the lust of eyes have to be limited to viewing  
         immoral things, or Pride of life limited to bragging or acting
        superior to others.
    a. If truth was admitted, the underlying motive for most        of our words are pride.
     b. One of the marks of the last days according to 2Tim.3;2
        is pride - “For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
        boasters, proud and & high minded.”
      c. These words describes the world system of which Apostle Jn,
          warned against the believer in Christ of getting caught up in it.

III. The danger of the world.
A. It is a danger to family unity.
     B. It is a danger to living apart from
         God and dying apart from God and
         suffering in agony forever in Hellfire.
    C. For the Believer in Christ as personal Savior, danger of the         world is personal indifference towards Bible study, prayer,
       church attendance and soul winning.            

Conclusion
Sadly, many have been snared into his world system like a fly in a spider web, to  their own spiritual detriment.

Falling into the sin of worldliness is like a slow leak in car tire; It start with a little compromise here and a little there, until before we realize it, our spiritual tires have all gone flat and the ride of life has lost its joy.

So let me ask you this. How’s your tires of life. ? How’s your fellowship with the Lord? Are you filled  with the joy and peace of the Holy Spirit? Do you have concern for the unsaved?

Your answer to these questions will reveal to you, your relationship to God.

THE BIG FIGHT

I WENT TO BED LAST NIGHT
TIRED AS I COULD BE,
Was sleeping very good,
Until a terrible commotion woke me.

So furious was the commotion,
My king size bed was shaking.
Some THINGS -  were fighting in my bed
I promise you, if I’m lying I’m dying.

Something was biting me all over my body,
And some kind of smelly gunk landed in my eyes,
I later learned it was Dust Mite’s *****
There were little bugs hanging on my skin,
Biting me all over from my head to my feet.
Added to this irritant, after I brushed them off,
And  jumped back in bed, there was Dust Mite ****  
all over  my sheet.

I later found out the big fight was between
Six legged Bed Bugs fighting Microscopic Dust Mites over my skin flakes,
The Dust Mites were pooping and the Bed Bugs biting.

So I gave up my bed and let them fight
And went out side and slept in the dog house
With my hound dog the rest of the night.

One day, Grampa was walking and talking with his Ten year old grand daughter. Shortly they came to a river. The side they were on was full of thistles, *** holes, cow manure and was not a very pleasant place to be walking.

On the other side of the river was a nice pasture of green grass, flowers and a very pleasant place to walk.

As they stood looking over the river at the pleasant pasture, Grampa pointed out to his grand-daughter where they were standing, that every day he was getting closer to that pleasant side of he river.

"What do you mean, Grampa?" she ask

"Honey child. Grampa is talking about death.
The day is coming, that Grampa's body will die,
It will  be buried some where in this earth,
But at the second coming of Jesus, be lifted up on high.

My child, Grampa has lived a good life,
But not good enough to merit a place in Heaven.
The only merit I have is the suffering and dying of Jesus for all my sins and, in Him my sincere believing.

My sweet Grandchild, the Bible says, "The wages of Sin is death.." and so Jesus died for all my sins
...but the Gift of God is Eternal Life through Jesus Christ"
Only by sincere faith in Jesus can anyone receive the Gift of eternal life.

Have you understood all that I have been telling you?"
"Yes Grampa, I have and I sincerely believe in Jesus Christ that He suffered and died for all my sins and now I have received the Gift of Eternal Life

How about you dear reader? Have you believed in Jesus Christ that He died for all your sins, and you have received The Gift of Eternal Life?

The Bible says "If we confess  our sins....ie that we are a sinner "God is faithful to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all our unrighteousness."

THE NEXT WORLD WIDE GLOBAL EVENT

......WILL BE TERRIFYING CARNAGE IN THE STREETS,
out of controlled fires, uncontainable flooding, paralyzing weather conditions making it exceedingly difficult for rescue operations.
Screaming, wailing  Moms,  Dads and teen-agers for the sudden disappearing of infant new-borns from the hospital, babies from their
cribs, children from the play ground, school class rooms never to be seen or heard again.

And it get's worse as super-sonic pilot-less air craft fall from the skies
along with all manner of out of control  mid-air crashes; meanwhile on earth from pole to pole in cities world wide blood bath carnage from driver less cars, trucks motorcycles piling up one on top the other, resulting in angry tempers out of control, killing , ******, steeling, no one showing any mercy or graciousness, but everyone determined to get all they can and can all they get, guarding with guns, knives, clubs whatever hands can find; and pity the rest home sick and physically helpless.

Are you tired of reading this yet? I haven't even scratched the surface of what's going to happen when Jesus returns in the clouds to ****** from off this planet all His children.

Think of whats going to happen when all those hundreds maybe thousands of man satellites come tumbling down, and they will, because there will be no controlling powers to keep them in orbit and the Russia's satellites will crash into America' s and down they will
fall.

And what or who  do you think is going to keep that worthless space station from tumbling down and splattering a thousand miles in every direction, when all God's technical brains have been lifted to heights a thousands of miles above that expensive piece of junk.

All Global news papers will copy each other with headlines screaming out : WARNING! ALIENS FROM OUTER SPACE!
the next line would describe these out of space creatures: SUPER POWERFUL ADVANCED INTELLIGENT SILVER SHINING, SLANT EYED CREATURE  RACE.

The body of the news papers. Planet earth has been attack by
a super powerful advanced intelligent and technology, using the power of light totally unknown to scientist of humanity; zapping out men, women, youth  and babies, with light particles Lazaro rays."

so goes the reasoning of the most brilliant leaders of our day. I could go on and on describing what's going to take place when all God's people are removed.

Let me explain why there will looting, ******,  killing  and all manner of carnage.  All the born again Believers, immediately upon their confession of being a Believer in Jesus Christ, received the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Through us Believers, He reproves the world of
sin, of righteousness and judgment.  As  result of His ministry through us Believers, there is a minimum of sin and a consciousness of righteousness and judgement for wrong doing; I say as long as we are in the world, wrong doing is held to slow leak, as it were.

But when us Believers are no longer present, the righteous influence
of the Holy Spirit is gone and men are left to their own conscience
to do whatsoever they please. Jeremiah, by Holy inspiration wrote that the heart of man is desperately wicked above all things.  Therefore in the absence of the indwelling of the spirit of God there is going to be all manner vile, wicked deeds perpetrated throughout the entire world, besides all the damage resulted from Christians  suddenly raptured from behind steering wheels of cars, trucks, ships and what have you.

WHAT'S HAPPENING? WHAT'S GOING ON? Masses of humanity
cry out in emotional fear and terror, as millions upon millions upon millions of friends, families even enemies suddenly vanish with no
explanation. The answer is very simple the RAPTURE OF THE
SAINTS OF GOD.

This poem is a warning to all unsaved,                
Jesus is coming in a moment of time,
So repent of self-righteousness,
Trusting in Christ as Savior and Lord,
So you won't be left behind.

From a little town in Iowa,
Came an average common lad
He’d accepted Christ as Savior,
‘cause he knew that he was bad.

But as he grew to manhood,
Walking with the Lord,
He knew that God had called him
To preach the Holy Word.

From his King James Bible,
He studied very hard,
Memorizing Scripture
And praying to the Lord.

He knew the time was coming,
Not very far away,
And wanted to be ready,
For preaching on that day.

Now listen to his message,
It’s true and it’s straight,
You’ve got to trust in Jesus,
To enter Heaven’s gate.

The best of men are sinners,
Says Romans three and ten,
And on their way to a devil’s hell,
Unless they’re born again.

Yes listen to the Preacher
From that Iowa town,
Listen to his message,
He’s preaching all around.

He calls you to the altar,
To repent of sin
So open up your heart’s door
Invite the Savior in.
(Revelation 3:20)

So come now ‘ol proud sinner
And humble your proud heart
Hear the Savior calling you,
From your pride depart.

The day of judgments coming
So kneel before the cross,
And trust in Christ as Savior
‘Er your soul is  lost.

The ten speed biker was coasting down hill
about 20 MPH when he took a spill,
He's moving on, He's moving on!
He hit the brake a little too late, He's moving on!

The ten speed biker was do'n ok,
Till he an old Tom Cat got in his way,
He's mov'n on, he's a mov'n on.
He tried it to miss, but the ground he kissed,
He's mov'n on!

The 10 speed biker broke down in tears,
climbing up a hill he ran out of gears,
He's a-moving on, he's moving on.
He had to call his nurse, when he went in reverse,
He mov'n on, he's mov'n on!

The ten speed biker was a do'n  ok, till he saw a pretty girl,
and he looked her way, he's mov'n on, he's mov'n on.
His bike is a wreck and so is his neck, he's mov'n on.
                (She wasn't worth look'n at  any way)

Welll, the ten speed biker was hav'n no trouble,
Till he tried to ride through a big mud puddle,
He's a mov'n on,
Now he's filthy sight, and so is his bike
But he'll soon be mov'n on, be a mov'n on.

The 10 speed biker hit a serious cog,
When he got chased by a mangy ol' dog,
He tried mov'n (faster) on,
But he ran of of luck, 'n got bit in the ****,
He's mov'n (a little slower) but he's still mov'n on.

[This next stanza was written by my 7 yr. old Grandson.)
The ten speed biker do'n 'bout 25  and didn't see
the  big hornet hive, he's moving on, he's mov'n on.
You could him cry'n "I think Im dy'n!
He's mov'n on, yeah mov'n on!

(This last stanza is a true experience when I was 65 yrs old)
The ten speed biker had good control, till he waved at a friend,
and ran off the road, he stopped mov'n on,  stopped mov'n on.
Now he's sett'n home with  broken ribs and a collar bone ,
He' NOT  mov'n on! yeah he's NOT NO LONGER MOV'N ON!

[I didn't have all these experiences, but wrote this poem to

Bits and Pieces From Isaiah
Chapt. 1:2-4 "The Lord has spoken"
The ox knows his owner and the *** his crib, but Israel does not know. A sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, having forsaken the Lord and provoked the   Holy One to anger."

The book of Isaiah is principally about Israel, Jerusalem and Judah,
but the message carries over to all the nations of the world today, especially the Jews and Gentles  of America.

Vs. 9 speaks of a very  small remnant of faithful believers among Jerusalem and Judah,
even so, scattered throughout the world and  America, there is a small remnant of faithful servants of the Lord.

But to those who are rebellious against God, just going through the motions of worshipping God,
i.e. the Easter/ Christmas crowd,
God says in vs's 11-15, He is sick of
their vain worship; vs. 15 He won't even respond to their prayers.

In these opening vs's Isaiah is describing Judah and Jerusalem, but they also are descriptive of the majority of America
