Tarry with me here.
Dangle by the pond
like fruit of vine near season's end.
No pain's too heavy to suspend
a while; no love so ripe to send
it down before the season's end.

When this time is gone,
I am but a road
with destinations picked by those
who use it. You are but a rose
beheld by them. This time will close
and we will go the way time goes.

Tarry with me here.
Drift beside the pond
like leaves afloat in Autumn air,
like birds, like things that share
the wind. No sorrow, pain, no care
can rise with them in Autumn air.

When this time is gone
I am but a house
to be resided in by those
who own it. You are but the bows
bedecking them. This time will close
and we will go the way time goes.
I'm ****** if I do
and I'm ****** if I don't,
what I'm about to say,
well,
don't think I won't...

Don't think I won't have the strength to go on,
because it's all in your perspective.
Don't think I won't have the courage to stand strong,
in the face of all my Demons.
Don't think I won't have the Mentality to know,
when someone's trying to break me.
Don't tell me I won't have the Will to fight,
when I'm faced with life or death.

Sometimes I know
that I feel so weak,
that I think it's time to end it.
But that's because,
I live in a house,
that would love to see me quit.

I won't let them.

Sometimes
in the dark of the night,
in the abyss of forsaken forests
when tree's take on new meaning
and sensation's in the light of the moon;
you can look up into the sky
and see a million stars
floating ghost like in the heavens.
They sing a lullaby
and bliss into the air.
They sing most beautifully
when they know your not listening.
Humming, swooping low into the night,
whispering dreams,
and nightmares
You lay your head down
in the cold wet embrace
of the grass and the weeds;
and listen to the ground breath,
and hear it,
beating,
growing,

**filled with life.
Let's raise a glass of champagne shall we?
let's raise a glass to this lovely night and this beautiful
bride let's raise a glass to the love they have no matter
how crazy it sounds let's raise a glass to the man who
captured her heart, to the man who kept his head even
when he lost his heart to this beautiful, spectacular bride
and a glass to the most amazing parents who raised her
till she grew and blossomed just like an alluring rose
here's to the most dazzling couple I've ever seen in my life
may your life be long as the divine endless summer nights
and your love shine your way brighter than the lights

For Paige:
I’ve wanted to ask you,
For so long now.
I just wasn’t sure,
Exactly how.
So I thought I’d give it a try.
This has been on my mind,
And I tried and I tried
To come up with ideas
But none were really mine.
Until I thought of this poem,
Something that I could create,
I and I alone.
So please consider it,
It would really mean a lot,
If you went with me to prom.
Things are things and
Verbs are verbs
When you hear chirps
It’s probably birds

Feet go in shoes
And shoes on the floor
Music echoes in ears
Leaving you wanting some more

A heart is a heart
Until it’s beats aren’t for you
Love isn't love
Until you share it with two

Then comes the end
As all good things must
Settle on the shelf
And gather life’s dust

"Too late" is a lie
So get back on your way
Start life over
If you can, start it today
Take things for what they are; live life to the fullest.
The life has left her eyes
her body, has left its ties
no matter the cries
His life has ended
with the saddest demise
Floor stained red
thoughts rush to her head
The darkness spreads
Herself left
