Love is not rude
It does not say, "Me!, Me!, Me!"
When two become one its,  "We!, We!, We!"

Love is not easily angered
It keeps no records of ugly words & wrongs
It only cries out, "How Can We Make It Strong!"

It does not dance with darkness
But serenades the light
To grow stronger is its only appetite

Love always protects
Always hopes and trust
True Love, will never rot or rust

It always perseveres
Through life's storms of thorns & nails

I painted you in shades of blue and hung you up to dry
But by morning you had faded and
Your eyes didn’t shine.

A Sultan set out on a journey one week,
when back to his harem he did sneak.
It startled his wives,
who scrambled for their lives
and let out a terrified sheik.

Crystal, pearls, roses  on a  gold line.
Jewelry makes you shine all day and night.
Glow in the dark stars, hanging  in the galaxy wanting
to  wished on in endless time.
Oh crystal, pearls, roses   you are my goddess hanging above on a gold
line.  
You are the most gorgeous thing , I seen in my nights.

.    I fell and scattered, shattered
into a thousand pieces
across the room,
and laid, waiting
     for someone to put me back together.

No one came, but it’s all the same:
     Mended or not
     I’m now cracked
     and incapable
of holding anything inside.
