I miss the days of innocence I miss sitting on the swing In the park, just before dark Not caring about a thing But the world has grown too big More than I imagined that it would Still I stay the course, without remorse All for the greater good
Around the bend, down by the creek Are a multitude of ducks and geese Gathered around by sunsets peak Golden skies without words to speak Just picturesque silhouettes Before the day is through And a healthy appreciation Of my panoramic view
