People had stopped coming and the bells no longer rang . The old gospel hymnals collected dust and the stained glass was faded and cracked. They pushed the doors closed and then nailed them shut. The cross was taken down and they breathe a sigh of relief. No longer would they have to hear The Sermon on the Mount. The Ten Commandments were thrown aside and they gave a gleeful shout. The world thought that christanity was done. No more churches were left, the battle was finally won. While they were celebrating, God was looking down from upon his throne. They had boarded up the buildings, but the church was not gone. Despite the world's best efforts, to tear God's people apart, what they could not understand is that God is in every Christians heart. So one by one, those who were left continued to spread the word. Though the hymnal were dusty, songs of praise could still be heard. From every single person that carried God in their heart, songs of praise filled the throne room and brought joy to the creators heart. Despite their best efforts, christanity would not die. Even though the nailed the church doors shut, God's word did still abide. For what they did not consider was that God does not exist in a single place, but that his cathedral is all of creation, for he is God that created everything.

I am up then I am down. I live on an emotional Merry go round. I never know who I will see in the mirror when I wake. I never know what kind of day it will make. My life is a mixed up cake full of pills. A discolored bottle is where I get my thrills. Pink, blue, white and green pills. Several times a day they make things very real. I live in a drug induced stupor, people call me brave, my mom says I am a real trooper. All I want is for the fog to go away, perhaps I can be the real me for just one day. How did life end up this way? This is not the existence I would have chosen, but I have personalities by the dozens. Being one of my many selves is not always appropriate, welcome to the world of my psychosis.

Mommy has manicured nails and daddy pays all of the bills. I walk around in high heels, oh what a pampered life. I have an awesome boy friend, he lets me drive his Mercedes Benz. I love his rippling muscles as he wraps his arms around me. I don't shop at retail stores, only the best from Christian Dior. Funny how money can open doors, yes I am rich. So what if I am a little spoiled and I never get my soft skin soiled. I have servants to take care of that. I spend my days looking amazing, sitting by the pool with my friends. What a shame it would be if this life were to ever end. So I will work on my smile, keep my figure all the while, I have money to burn. When will the little people ever learn, they all like what they see. All of them want to be like me. I am famous for being rich and they say I am a little *****. I will just sit here a while, perhaps take a few selfies and smile as I feed my dog Caviar. Perhaps I will just become an online star. Smiling as you dream of being rich like me, I am just a little entitled you see.

Like ants we scurry around and think we truly matter. We build sand castles and believe we can achieve immortality. In truth like children on a seashore we labor in vain. The waves from the ocean of time sweep away what we have built. No matter our perception, our existence in this world is finite. What we leave behind little but memories of our ghost. In the end we complete our short journey, while eons pass the world turns and the cosmos changes, and yet we exist for only a second and wonder that we even matter at the end of it all.

The world cried out for a savior and God gave them one. Then Satan came along and said let's have some fun. So as the savior waited for Gods word, Satan threw a party. For days the celebrating went on as if there was no end. Then the savior came back and all had to repent. The check came due for the misdeeds, but Satan could not be found. He said you guys have become a ****** so I will just sit this one out. On the people went and then their savior faded away, then the law was left but the rules they did not obey. So Satan came again and said let's have some fun. He tempted each person, all of them one by one. Then the bill came due again and Satan could not be found. The people had to pay the check yet again. So people began to wonder what is the devils deal. Is it to temp and torment to break Gods will. No in truth this is not the case, for you see he just want you to have fun. At least until the clock runs out and the bill has come. Then you will be left to pick up check for the devil will not pay his due. Then he will slip off quietly and laugh at you.

The shards of broken dreams lay all around me. The mirror that told me the truth has shattered. The pieces of sharp reality now cut my feet as I walk. Each shiny bit taunts me as the pain rises up from each labored step I take. I would move mountains to go back, but the cruel hands of time keep moving forward. So I must go on living with my mistakes and enduring the pain of walking on the glass that I shattered with my lies.

Shades of Phantoms haunt my days. I see strange things. I look in the mirror and I am not myself. I see a crown and armor yet I feel less than mortal. The world shifts around me as I walk, everything is skewed. The faces of the people that pass me are contorted, I see them for what they really are. There are no pleasantries among them, each one holds a monster inside. I see their Dark Inner secrets that they cover with a facade. Is the world an illusion or am I simply living out my delusions? Who can really say what is real anymore?
