You’re captivating you keep saying.
If i’m so captivating, tell me what chapter of me did you like best?
Was it your hands moving up my thighs?
Or your lips against my neck?
Was it the chapter of empty promises, and midnight walks when we can’t sleep?
For me it was the chapter where my loneliness finally sunk in, through the bindings of my soul.
The part where my hand wrapped in yours brought me temporary comfort.
Until we realized that this story wasn’t written for either one of us.
So we go our separate ways, to write more pages of our lives.
Only returning for our temporary chapters.
I found you only in darkness

I think its the tear that rolls down your nose and soaks into your pillow. Your face is buried in someone else’s neck, and you cant recognize their smell or the way that they breathe. You trace the outline of their body and come out empty handed. Their lips aren’t as soft and no longer bring yours company. Their hands can’t ease pain anymore and you feel so alone your thoughts echo.
What makes this happen?
