Red Lips
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
Her eyes
as dark as stone,
illuminate her troubled past.

Forever shall she wither
from shame she's once had in her.

For her heart beats along,
with troubled sighs,
highlighting her brunette strands.

Goes off with what has been done,
but says what can not be heard.

Every trace of smiles thrown away,
taste as though she's out of her mind.

Red lips speak from all angles,
but not all words are formed.

Walls
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
Sometimes you put up walls

to see who would care

enough

to break them.

At times you put up walls,

just to get away

and not be found.

Until

you find yourself.

You Say This?
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
There's a reason why you forgot about me
maybe it was the way
I was never okay
       or how
my hair was always messy
my eyes was always heavy
       perhaps how
my thoughts were usually jumbled or
other people interested you
and you didn't know what to do
       it could be how
I cared too much
and maybe I still care
       too much

Lie
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
Lie
He is nothing just throwing it away
Nothing but little to blame
All withered past the day
Thorough left to his splintered shame

Self-advantage sheltered once in me
A selfish ruin of lost control
The devil once tortured him among the unseen
For true is all that is remembered; baffled and withhold

Something but all a brutal essence
Crooked with mindless and deceived actions
He never beheld a large intend of such lessons
With all due to his respect,
his master's own intentions fractions

A diving behold but in remarculous form
Within stance from his cornered' throne
Belittled by all lies and schemes blended with such
Is all too late under what estimates morn

He tells all yet true lies within her
Such small and fragile he is held in intentions of much
Towered behind the days past
For nothing shall be granted and lasting

Copied and widowed by longing groan
Crept under lies and remorse under told by frames
Battled and scarred for his intentions of such and remains
Quietly shall he keep this up,
for he knows all is gone

He
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
He
Nothing of such is my intention
Further is where you'll go down
All of is rather a mention
Of whom you shall plead against with a withered frown

Don't let my choosing belong to me
It may never last of what you say is "forever"
For it may settle against your darkest flee
But the longing is the part of which you seek the unwritten never

It lasts while they say
Because of what you're told is your own hearing
You think this is all my regarded blame
Feathered within the lust of such baring

Your longing is the forever behold
Forget all I've brought nor once again said
Past your loathed ears you seek in his fold
Your passion is far too much for my longing to fed

All this is your blame
I say it isn't yet this is the truth hid
Beneath such words I came to speak before he came
Now you  hold all that is lathered of it's own lid

Speak of what you think is your own words
Let this tell you of what you're reminded of what you lost
It's all a self-written curve
For you to become of it's cost

Embrace
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
The sound of a crack
From across the room she makes
A single step of rose
Is of one she'll nearly expose

With the second embrace
From the single kiss
She withdraws a sensual sensation
Of the grateful bliss

It hurts to see her trying
The lack of passion she restrains
From her blood-stained crying
She leaves the current estates

As her finger lingers about across my shoulder
It takes some time for her to encounter
She feels this as a sign of a heavy boulder
For whom she can never subside

The liquid that pours down her cheeks
Are the ones she caresses the most
Without a single embrace from the other
She feels the complete loast

I will guide her through this mess
A single and utter mess
A hand for her to once again hold
It goes across the sensation fold

We shall lack demonstration
For regards on her passion
With the words that she disposes across her tongue
It damages her encounter run

The sound of a crack
From across the room she makes
A single step of rose
Is of one she'll nearly expose

I hope you're okay
I hope you're alright
This shall take a dismay
From a wicked little fright

Never heard a one of a response
From you nor the surroundings
It may be as though it has little sounding
A crept disletter, from an unknown sender

An urge to go back and once fourth
The sound of a battered thought from the mind
Of a little disarray sound through its' henceforth
A trouble caused by a reckon of a peep
The misery crept upon as the sound widens with a steep

From this regarded response
I have still to hear about
To the right of my heart, the small of a shudder
As my mind wonders and is cracked from sudden shouts

Again as though you have never heard
I hope you're okay
I hope you're alright
This shall take a dismay
From a wicked little fright

You'll Be Okay
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
You'll be okay
Just not far from behind
Never yearning on a way to stay
But never a way to let this climb

Don't worry too deeply
Or scare never too little
This is all just a twist and turn
From what may seem as a riddle

Take any estimate
And it'll either or be thrown
It'll be just like the opposite fate
Far from  the idle lone

Not to care as much as you think
But to handle just as much as you wish
To throw it away and let it sink
Yet it'll have a remain from a simple twist

Space
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
There is a beautiful world where I can see your face,
Time shreds space like worn out fashion,
It exists only between time and space
And leaves us desperate for our precious compassion

Space consumes time without our consent,
Our love is regained when we meet in between
And hides the reality that our dreams were once spent
And there we can dance again in our dream

Am I Just a Prize?
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
I am not a prize to be wanted
I am not a prize to be worn
I am not a sacrifice to be sentenced
I am not anyones reward

If you can take a peek at a close spot
And listen to what you are saying
Sure take a thought about it and let me see
This is a reality and a secondhand degree

All you may see is a pretty painted picture
But all that you have seen is a piece of the easel
A picture you've noticed is worth a thousand words
But one is clearly all to be

I may be all fresh and melted
To what you may agree to disagree
But from many assumptions
There is just never an ending sleeve

Look at you and glance down upon yourself
What may you want with me?
I am not a piece to be yours
It can be sheltered upon and shattered
But all that is there is despair
For what may become of you and all whose laddered

So all I am saying it don't get too close
Nor ever take a piece of my heart
Don't try to get all comfy due to all you can 'see'
You know I am in love
But all there isn't always me

I am not a prize to be wanted
I am not a prize to be worn
I am not a sacrifice to be sentenced
I am not anyones reward

Memories?
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
Today will be a memory
Yesterday is a memory drifting away
Memories turn into tears
Tearing us apart

Fear of moving on, afraid of change
I a minute this will just be a memory
Memories are all pain in vain
Memories are like dreams, a reflection of the past

Memories are vision of what it used to be
My memories are sadness and struggle
What are yours?
Are they sadness and struggle?

You are but a memory
That dwindles as each day passes me by
And as you slowly vanish
As I go ahead and make an attempt for one last cry

A memory that's all I have
That's all that's left of you
Nothing but a mere memory
That still lingers, only for a little while longer in my head

Don't forget about the past
Without memories there is no yesterday
Make every day one to remember a
Memory to move on with no pain or anymore regrets

Timing
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
My smile may have faded
But sometimes I feel it's too late
It may never be seen as liberated.
Yet there is always a second chance

From the footsteps I've heard ever since
I never may take a peek ahead
And what it may seem to make me wince
Is all just a second memory to be once again led

If every hour is a different time
And every second is a different matter
What will it take to make this one time intersect
With every minute that has made it up my ladder?

Sometimes I feel like skipping each step
But other times it's all just too much
It may even feel like a free fall to another world
So here I some with all there is to even take a clutch

All there is to see and take a note of what I have read
May be an understatement to which it has been locked
But there's an easy timing to such greed overhead
And I may not just yet want to take a key to foresee
Yet here I come with all of this fantasy

My smile may have faded
But sometimes I feel it's too late
It may never be seen as liberated.
Yet there is always a second chance

Peek Ahead
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
Even if we never will be
It shall never hold me back
From keeping as close as I can

If all this is will it be
Then can we take a little time
From what may be?

No need to take a peek ahead
All what comes at us between
Will always be what be never be seen

Take a piece of the past
And let it intertwine
With what all this may become
For all good things shall always last

Three Strong Words
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
It may be just a simple statement
But it's only real
A simple word can be a thousand reasons
Yet only a reason can be a true
And you can make this little steal

So take one thought now
And make it into many words
Let them all out and speak them through
But only it may become chords

This statement is a true reality
And proves with only three words
On how a person such feels inside
With all their inner quality

You can never look inside a persons' heart
Or have a piece of what is only true
With a word so strong and near
It'll only become harder to speak of such through

All that is left to say really
Is all that can be proved by one to another
Only three small words that define such language

I love you

It Came To This
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
But now you're chained to my mind
I search but cannot find
Any way to sever
I guess you're stuck there forever

Times you can't rewind
To the love you could never find

Just sit and let me fade away
Same story as to just another day
Choking on your love torn lies
In the end, it shall always die

You remind me of who I use to be
But tonight, you've thrown it down the drain
Black my eyes so I can't see
Or feel any of this pain

For this despair
When I can hardly take a breathe
Upon this slow and slender death
I shall forget

Truth
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
Trying to yearn what you say
Never comprehends
It can go like this throughout the day
Because this is all that has to depend

With such deep despair
Any words I affirm can never make sense
A different time can seem to affair
But without neglect, it may be intense

An unknown reason
Can lead to many assumptions
There may never be one definition for such
Yet here come all the presumptions

Articles are overthrown individually
And slowly crumble as we start to speak
With unknown consciousness of each will eventually
Due to all these oblique unspoken thoughts

Are all just words said without a single trace of truth

Wound
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
This is usually the end for me
About to make a crease
But all that may be free
Is all that can be released

Never hold it in
Always take a break
It may always be too thin
But it shall never be a fake

Let this change in time
Without a simple chime
I know it may hurt
Let it take with a simple climb

You may want to hide it
And keep it in from them
But let this scream out
And never let it condemn

You can take this as a lullaby
And let this be pretend
Shall you turn it into a cry
So it never takes its' end

Never let yourself feel alone
Always yourself recieve a wound
Let this all be known
And let it take
A simple bound

Pour
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
My heart pours out
It's not another maze
Do not let me hear the sound
For it may not be a phase

So let it off slowly
For it may stay
But now it took off coldly
But it is at the gentle dismay

It may take some time
For it to make its' heal
But I will take my climb
For you to take a steal

The piercing is strong
But the effect is weak
I know this sounds wrong
So let me take a peek

I'll let you know to take a call
You see me here and never there
It may be time to take that fall
For it to become clear

Now hear me out
And let me take my speak
Please never make that doubt
And let this take it's peak

This will never fade away
But it makes me wonder
Until my clouds turn grey
So I will never take you down under

My heart pours out
It's not another maze
Do not let me hear the sound
For it may not be a phase

Mirror Mirror
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
No matter how many times
I look into this mirror
This image of me
This image of my past
This image of my nightmare
Will never go away

There is a remembrance of a girl
A remembrance of a dream
I hold the past
In the palm of my hands

How can I keep looking?
Will this mirror ever shatter?
It will never break away
No matter how many times I try

I am the one left
To pick away the pieces
The pieces that used to be me
The drops that once were free

Why am I screaming?
Why am I afraid?
The  teardrops shed harder
Every time I take a peek

The tilted glass shatters
But not everything matters
This is hurting too much
Is it possible for me to be
The way I used to feel?

I am the one left
I am my own living legacy
I can see through behind this mirror
And I will shed my last final
Blood-filled tear

Although my heart may be weak
And it may sometimes
Even give in, but
I have now learned to understand
That deep down,
There is a light, that never  goes out

I have finally reached my stage
This is the stage that ends
Of who I used to be
I have to look into the past,
And break it a part
From the image of who I used to be

No matter how many times
I look into this mirror
This image of me
This image of my past
This image of my nightmare
Will never go away

You see my smile on my face
It is there a while
It is so misplaced

Dwelling on the past
Has made it turn fake
The smile never lasts
And now it is far too late

Please leave now and leave me to be
To drown away the sorrow
To let the tears rain slowly

Even by tomorrow
And all those falling tears
I am still your shadow
And hiding from my fears

My smile is not real
I am becoming numb
I can no longer feel
But the time has come

Unlock
Holly Lipovits Jul 2013
My private feelings
Are now open
You are now free to
Read them
Take this key
To unlock what you are
About to read

I have now learned
To take a piece of thread
And unravel what is left of me
What is left is this piece
Is what may be free

Take the lock
And take that key
Be frightful by every knock
Every piece of this
Is a piece of me

I'll let you read it
Until you see me weep
To see that frown from something lit
Is something you can not keep

Let it all in
Let it all in now
Just take that needle
And pick this pin
And make yourself a vow

Keep this to yourself
Keep it with you please
Don't let me take a plead
But please set it free

You have now taken a peek
In what you may regret
But there may be a leak
With what I have met
Don't let yourself fall
This is all I have kept
But never make yourself a call

This is what it may be
And it may never change
It is what you wanted to see
No need to rearrange
It is all I can be

Vow with this needle
And this thread
Sew yourself together
For what you have up ahead

— The End —
