I'm learning to see you again
When I lift my head
To the bleak air
My eyes stich together
Pieces of a broken cloud
Into your ghost face

How I long
To caress your cheek,
With my dissolving hand
To look upon your azure eyes
That freeze my heart
With rays of artic light

Descend from the clouds
And lift me into the celestial white.

Lure me into your arms deception
Hold me tight in your embrace
Cling to me in your exasperation
Extrude the life from my lungs
Until I adhere to your last breath

I live in a prison with no walls
Rattling the bars that aren't there
Ankles shackled with no bonds

Dare I escape into the world?
Failure prowls the streets
Rejection closely follows
A pack of ravenous wolves,
Mouths dripping saliva,
Seeking to devour their anemic prey

Success in distance stands
On the peak of dreams never reached
Beckoning me draw near

Still I Remain
Rotting in this ruinous refuge
The guard wears my face
The key he holds for me to take

Forget what is gone
Forsake your dying children
**** a worthless world
Red

Red
Born from gore
Into maroon swirls
Scarlet rooms
House of sanguine

Crimson oceans
Reflect the bleeding sun
Sky of vermilion

Carnage of existence leaving
Bodies of Carmine

World of Blood

Do you dream often little boy?
Blood draining from her throat
Cutting soft butter
The blade dancing across her skin
Those terrified frozen eyes of hopelessness
Her screams for help,
Silenced by the glove covering her mouth
The sudden turn of her head,
As she felt the breath on her shoulder
Mud covered boots creeping closer
The man in the doorway
You've seen him before
Haven’t You?
A little boy playing with a toy knife
