i wonder what it'd feel like to really
be kissed by you.

i identified with a piece of fruit today

there are apples in the cafeteria
shrink-wrapped like they were
meant to be shipped off to outer space
but ended up here somehow

maybe the aliens sent them back

on writing memoirs

it's strange to write about myself as an entity
i have always thought of myself in terms of other people
the gap between them
a body of negative space.
